Godisnowhere
[It started slowly. Faintly. Even almost as a joke... or 602 thought it's a joke.
It apparently wasn't, and he has to realize that when he witnesses the letters born in front of his eyes 'G O D I S N O W H E R E' . The wall of his room's slowly covered by the phrase.
"God Is Now Here" or is it "God Is Nowhere" he can read both everywhere, and he's not sure which one he finds more terrifying.
Terrifying. Yes that's the word. 602 is scared, and it gets worse as he looks around and his room is decorated with dark red letters, repeating the same even darker sentences. 602 tries to keep the unholy scream inside as he hurries to the door to get away, but as he stumbles out the corridor it's covered too. Everything is written on, every surface...
602 lets out a hysteric laugh, but it frees the screaming too. It's not just a simple scream. It's a cry of something ancient in madness, shaking the cheesy pictures of landscapes on the walls, the loose doorknobs, the door frames...
Before he himself knows he's already dashing down the stairs and outside to where there are no walls.]
((OOC: The sentences are visible to others too, but only appear around Gabriel. They could be read either as "God is now here", or "God is nowhere". ))

First she sees the faint sentences "godisnowhere" appear on her walls, followed by the shaking of the décor and the sliding doors and windows, until she realizes, with an deathly chill down her spine, that the clamor comes with an unholy sound. The footsteps dashing down and out startles her, but her senses told her go check -- if something is terrifying this person, then she must deal with whatever it is and help them...
She waits until the the sound dashes past her door before she slides out, chain scythe in hand, ready to attack or defend herself if need be--
But nothing, no one came. She saw nothing but that phrase repeating itself over and over again on the walls. Chain scythe disappearing and turning back into her hair, 208 then decides to follow the dashing footsteps, foregoing the steps and leaping over the banisters where she can. She calls out -- ]
Wait! Wait, hold it!

[When 602 realizes he's outside, he calms for a moment. But then he remembers THAT and suddenly nothing, absolutely nothing can make this feel better at all.
He spins around sharply, glaring at her with fear and anger.]
Ya're the one behind THAT, missy?!
[Common sense tells it couldn't possible be her, but who listens to common sense when they're scared out of their mind.]
ANSWER ME. [Look at that, the godly, ground shaking voice is back.]

[ 808 keeps her distance when she halts -- a good three, four paces away. Is he talking about the writings on the wall? Or the tremors in the building? ] Behind what-- ?!
[ Despite being startled by the demand, 808 stands her ground and brings her arms up in a defensive stance out of reflex, as if expecting a shockwave that doesn't come. But she realizes that the ground-shaking is being done by this man. Bringing her arms down again -- ] I thought you were in danger I want to help!

[ And looking up just a tad -- ] What was it that scared you like that?
no subject
Stop it, stop that, missy, it's makin' me uncomfortable! [Rubs the back of his neck, while he's thinking about the answer.] It... it was... those words... What they... said. [He frowns as he's thinking about it.] Or more like the one they were telling about. ['God', but the word 'father' flashes up in his mind at that.]

[ A tad hesitant, though she takes a step forward towards the troubled man -- ] I saw them too, in the building. I-I've found them troubling too it's just-- I don't understand what they truly mean...
But why do they trouble you so much?

[Start pacing about, shaking his head. Even thinking about the words is frightening. But her question makes him think. Really, why?]
Somethin' 'bout... him, ya know. It's frightening ta think about him.
no subject
That "god is now here" or "god is nowhere" --
I think though -- it's normal to be afraid. It's okay to be afraid when you're faced with something so powerful.
no subject
[He shakes his head. It's not just that. Or is it? Strange, he feels there is something more to it than simply just a fear from God.]
Ya're afraid too, missy?
no subject
Right now though-- I'm-- I'm afraid of whatever it is that is making people so scared.
no subject
Huh... [He snorts at her answer.] I guess that makes ya brave then. It equals annoying in my dictionary, 'specially that I was screaming like some little girl just now.

[she sees the man coming and quickly steps to the side to avoid being run over. she's not sure whether she should take his word for it and run as well or hope he stops to give an explanation. after all, in this place, the horrors seem mostly personalised. and as he gets closer, she spots those words on the wall--following him--and her eyes narrow]
no subject
He opens his mouth to answer her, but he's stuck as he realizes that the words slowly creep around them as worms on the walls. 602's glance follows them, meanwhile he's starting to tremble visibly.]
I need ta get out... I-I need--
no subject
Come on! Outside.
no subject
Maybe God itself.
That thought made his knees buckle and stumble just before they could exit the hotel. He grabbed her arm tightly, shutting his eyes, as if that would make it all stop, but of course all in vain.]
I can't, it's no use, it won't go away!

No, you don't understand! It... IT... HE! [His voice gets deeper, as if it would be coming from somewhere deeper, shaking everything around them.] Thou shall be afraid of the Lord for he's everywhere yet nowhere!
[He has no idea where that came from he's just sure that it was himself who said it... Confusing.]
no subject
Who are you?

no subject
Fine, whatever! Let's go! [she pulls him again, bringing him through the exit and out onto the Astral Plane]
no subject
Thanks... This- this happened to ya too?
no subject
[she looks him up and down] You all right?
no subject
I'm fine, I'm fine! [His tone is frustrated, because being scared like that is so not cool... He still refuses to even look back at the hotel, in case he might see the sentence again. It just a stupid sentence, but triggered something deeper inside him. Something he should remember...]
C'mere I'll heal ya in return. [Distraction, distraction.]
no subject
What? [she's confused for a second, but considering his little display that he's obviously not human, she just asks:] You know how to do that?
[or rather, does he remember? then again, Morgana seemed to be able to use her magic just fine, so she hopes he really can heal. she's tired of the headaches from that whack over the head she got]
