[aaand here's a Vash! He's in his normal red coat, but he's also looking very dusty and a little beat up. He's got a slowly darkening bruise under one eye, dust in his hair, and a few small bloodstains on his coat. He also smells more strongly of gunpowder than usual.]

I don't get it! They keep showing up like they know I'm in Karkassas, even though no one can leave to give anyone that info... unless I'm mistaken? But that can't be right...

[blinks, looking up now that he's stopped talking to himself]

... I guess it's been a while since I've come here. I keep getting distracted.

[shakes his boot around a little, torn somewhere between 'wtf' and 'aww it's cute'] Sorry. It's, uh. Nice to meet you?

You too, Bulls-eyes. I'm Cy. Cy for cyber. [Leaves off of the boot and tries to get at the gun under his coat.]

Hey! No cats allowed! [and now tries to scoop her up to get her away from there]

[SCOOP'D.] That's a speciesist position, mister.

[laughs] Sorry, but a gun's too dangerous to play with.

[will pet on her some more to make up for it!]

[Starts purring, and tries to climb up onto his shoulder.]

[grins, leaning forward to make it easier for her]

What sort of world do you come from? Do all the cats there talk like you do?

[Plays with his hair.] I dunno. Do they all talk like you where you lay your fluffy head?

[staying surprisingly still while she's playing, not wanting to knock her off by accident]

Okay, good point. It's just a little weird to think about.

[Nommity nom hair.]

Does it hurt under a two-eyed stare?

[wonders if it would be impolite to ask the kitty to stop eating his hair :|]

... I have no idea what you're talking about.

[He can try. "Will she listen if he asks" is perhaps the more apt question.]

The skylights, Bulls-eyes, the skylights! I've never seen two before.

Oh! You're talking about the suns!

[Nom nom nom.]

[picks her up off his shoulder, suddenly serious] What did you just call me?

[Wide-eyed innocent kitty face.]

Angel, Angel.

... ..... .......

[kitty face: 1, serious look: 0]

You haven't been to No Man's Land, have you?

[sets her down on the floor] I'd really appreciate it if you didn't repeat that to anyone else.

[Climbs back up onto his foot.] Why?

[with a faint laugh] Because it's safer to keep some things a secret.

[Leans against his leg.] But you're pretty.

[shakes his head, reaching out to pet her again] You don't mean 'tasty'? I thought cats eat things with feathers.

[Mooshes her little self against his hand.] Naw, Angel. Well, maybe. Ace likes furry ones best.

[tries to give her a good skritch, though it's hard with his gloves] Mice, huh? Can't taste any worse than Tomas do.

Wassat? You eat 'em?

Tomas? Only if you're in a pinch. I've been in that situation a few times and it wasn't pleasant.
