[aaand here's a Vash! He's in his normal red coat, but he's also looking very dusty and a little beat up. He's got a slowly darkening bruise under one eye, dust in his hair, and a few small bloodstains on his coat. He also smells more strongly of gunpowder than usual.]

I don't get it! They keep showing up like they know I'm in Karkassas, even though no one can leave to give anyone that info... unless I'm mistaken? But that can't be right...

[blinks, looking up now that he's stopped talking to himself]

... I guess it's been a while since I've come here. I keep getting distracted.

[shakes his head, reaching out to pet her again] You don't mean 'tasty'? I thought cats eat things with feathers.

[Mooshes her little self against his hand.] Naw, Angel. Well, maybe. Ace likes furry ones best.

[tries to give her a good skritch, though it's hard with his gloves] Mice, huh? Can't taste any worse than Tomas do.

Tomas? Only if you're in a pinch. I've been in that situation a few times and it wasn't pleasant.

[blocks her progress with his hands, because a kitty up his coat is Do Not Want] I don't think you'd be able to take down a Tomas. They're way too big for that. I could try bringing you some Tomas jerky sometime, though.
