[Anyone approaching the kitchen today will find it in a complete state of chaos as Ikki cooks in it. He's not used to work in a kitchen so he has just no sense of keeping things in order or anything, the times he sneaked inside a kitchen to get good when he was little he didn't have time to clean up after all. On a first sight it looks like the work of someone who may be out to destroy the kitchen rather than just use it, at least what he's cooking doesn't seem toxic even if he has created a huge mess to make it.]

Tch, I should have just returned and eaten whatever there was around.

[At least he seems to recognize that he has created a mess. But he doesn't seem willing to clean it at all. He eyes the food he was making, seems he has made too much but he supposes he can leave it here for whoever comes next if they want, he certainly isn't going to throw it away himself food isn't to be wasted.]

[Sherlock is always up for a free meal. Well, when he eats. Since it had been a couple of days - he thinks, time is rather strange here - he wanders into the kitchen to get something.

He walks in and is greeted with quite the sight. It's almost as bad as when he runs an experiment. But the food smells wonderful.

To not appear too needy, he walks over and pours himself some coffee, which is when he notices Ikki.]

[Today's menu isn't anything great, actually the recipes used are something so simple that even kids could make them, it makes sense since all Ikki knows about cooking are things he gained mostly when he was a kid. Honestly, the coffee is probably the most complex thing in the kitchen at the moment. Deviled eggs, a huge bowl of mashed potatoes and blueberry pancakes. Simple recipes with the potential of causing the huge mess the kitchen is in if one isn't careful, and Ikki wasn't. At least the food looks delicious and smells quite well, he may not be a complex cook but he doesn't make toxic food.

Ikki's currently still preparing the deviled eggs, it should be noted that there's probably enough amount of food to feed two football teams. He doesn't seem to mind the other's presence until Sherlock talks.]

[He concentrates on his work again, not a man of many words or one to open to strangers. However even he knows he has made too much, chances are the other is only here for the coffee or would prefer to make his own food, or he can just leave it there and let the other decide by himself if he wants some or not.]

[Glare, what, haven't you ever seen a messy kitchen? Well, it's not really a glare, but given how Ikki seems to have a frown as a default expression most of the time, it may seem that way.]

[This is a perfect distraction, isn't it? Ikki looks up at the familiar Cosmos even before Mu speaks.]

[Menzies stops short in the doorway of the kitchen. surveying the scene--and seeing who's the cause--she lets out a whistle]

[Ikki turns to look at the source of the voice before looking around him, for a moment wearing an expression that says that he doesn't know what she's talking about. But surveying again the mess he has caused and the food as well as thinking about how long he has been there? He smirks.]

It was entertaining enough, I won't deny that.

[she steps into the kitchen, striding briskly across to limit the amount of flour that poofs up from the floor onto her as she moves. she fetches a cup and pours herself some coffee as she looks out over all the food] So, expecting people, or is all this just for the good of whoever 'appens to walk in?

[You're damn right food isn't to be wasted. There's a whisper of sound at the doorway to the kitchen, and a white haired kid steps through. He takes in the mess and snorts, winding his way over to pour himself a cup of coffee.]

Man, even that route's tricky. The other day something tried to eat me instead of what it should be.

[Side-eying you, are you saying there may be something lurking here that will try to eat you?]

[Dave gets a mug from a lower counter and shrugs.] Pretty much, it had a surprise attack. I kicked it in the face.

[He pours his coffee and takes a few swallows of it, completely at ease with a slight slouch.]

[While she hasn't had much experience with kitchens (cooking fires were what she knew best) it still looked like a mess. But that wasn't what had drawn her in. Sasha had sensed Ikki and came to see him.]

Ikki! It's been a while.

[She smiles at him, looks at the results of his cooking.] If you don't mind my asking, what is all this?

[He looks at her and nods. Of course it hasn't been that long since he saw her in his case but that her and this one are different so it doesn't count.]

I see that you're still among the visitors of this place, Athena. You look well, at least.

[He looks at the kitchen and then at her, stubbornly.]

I made food.

[And that's all that "all this" is.]

[Shiro isn't heading to the kitchen as such, so much as he's following the scent of food! He's got a great sense of smell after all, and any time there's good food on the plane, you can bet he'll make his way over. Only...]

Gosh, what happened in here?

Have you never seen a disordered kitchen after someone used it?

[ Kiki just popped in from "home", supplies in hand: basket tucked in one arm filled with effects for baking along with a couple of oranges, and on the other hand was a bottle of dark rum.

I was just making food. It's not that bad.

[Saga just stands by the kitchen's door with arms crossed, a wide, amused grin quite visible.]

I can see you are not the first man who ever does this sort of disaster.

I can see you seem to be in a better mood than the last time I saw you.

[Or at least better enough to want to jab at the poor guy who just wanted to make some food.]

[the Doctor, having raided the ballroom's wardrobe, looks quite the Victorian gentleman in his frock coat and top hat; he even has a walking stick, which he uses to poke at the mess]

I do hope the kitchen did something to deserve this treatment.
