001: ...Another Opens

[ninth_doctor]

[The Doctor is working on some gadget for the TARDIS with his sonic as he steps onto the Plane. He walks a few steps, not noticing where he is and then freezes. He taps his foot on the ground. It's changed.]

That's not right.

[He looks up and looks around. A small smile appearing. He pockets the items he was working on and takes in the sight before him.]

All realities, all of time at the same instant. I mean, I see it like that all the time in m'ead. But this? This is fantastic!

[But that's all just an act. Seeing this place reminds him of the one place that isn't here. And that pain still burns raw within him. He sees a bar and enters. He only takes a glass of water, but is pleased to notice the Hyper-vodka is well stocked.

He looks around the room to see who's around.]

Ahh! Y'do? Well, I've never met you before, so you're from after me.

[If Rory knows him, that should make complete sense. And he's grinning to show how much sense it should make.]

I--yeah. Yeah, I guess you could say that, Doctor. [he smiles faintly--but then that smile fades as something else occurs to him] It doesn't bother you meeting me now, does it? I could go if you don't want to find anything else out. [he points towards the door, half taking a step towards it]

[That makes the Doctor smile. Genuinely.]
