[Hiccup is unusually serious today. He has a few bruises on his face, and he looks a bit more tired than usual. He's sitting on the Astral floor, with drawings around him. The pictures are about a huge, blue dragon, surrounded by arrows and side notes. It almost looks like a battle plan.]

Wish I'd seen if he could fly or not... [Hiccup mutters, biting his lower lip.]

[Hiccup's thankful for that. He's as awkward without all the pity too.]

[He smiles a little then.] I'd really feel safer if I could come back when we're having a problem... But, but it's really, we might not, so it's not like before, this is really serious...

[He nods.] Yeah, no, I understand. Just... wish I knew how to help, or somethin'. Sure you don't need an explosion mage on your side? [He even lights a tiny fireball in one hand, just for kicks.]

[Hiccup gasps out, hearing about 'explosions' and 'mage'.] W-whoah! Whoah, alright, alright, that was you o-or what, uh... Did you just... light that fire? Just like that?! [Because for him, Eithan is still a guy in a dress.]

[Eithan actually snickers a bit at the look on Hiccup's face.]

Yeah, no, that was me. Just like that. [He snaps his finger and the fireball vanishes.] Like I said! I'm an explosion mage.

I... I might--- I could use that! [Hiccup mutters to himself, pointing at Eithan's hand where the flame was before.] And can you aim with it too? Like, throwing it?

'Course. [He nods once, firmly.] I can make it bigger, smaller, more explosive, more stable, throw it wherever I want it... anything.

[Hiccup looks at Eithan intently.]

You're like a dragon. I... I could... so you maybe, come, maybe, to help... How do you like dragons?

[Eithan barely follows Hiccup’s train of thought, but he manages to blink when he’s compared to a dragon. He grins, just about to respond to that, when Hiccup asks what he thinks of them. He shrugs a shoulder.]

I think they’re really fuckin’ dangerous dependin’ on what kind you’re dealin’ with, but that doesn’t make ‘em any less awesome. So yeah. I like ‘em.

Mmhmmm... [Hiccup nods, nods nods, yes nods.] Would you want to ride one?

[His eyes go reeeaaally wide.] S-... Seriously? I could ride a dragon?!
