[Hiccup is unusually serious today. He has a few bruises on his face, and he looks a bit more tired than usual. He's sitting on the Astral floor, with drawings around him. The pictures are about a huge, blue dragon, surrounded by arrows and side notes. It almost looks like a battle plan.]

Wish I'd seen if he could fly or not... [Hiccup mutters, biting his lower lip.]

[Gwen does not approve of Hiccup fighting in a battle. Especially not a battle involving dragons.]

[Hiccup jumps a little at the sudden voice, and looks at Gwen.]

Oh, uh... yyyyes. Yes, it could be called that, but I say it's more like a suicide plan... [Laughs nervously, but then his expression goes worried.] I must be prepared, Gwen...

[Hiccup rubs the back of his head as he speaks. He tries to sound casual, but it's clear he's extremely worried about this.] Dad took Toothless... Annnnd now they are on their way to the dragon's nest... annnd... we'll go after them, with the others. And stop them. But that might include dealing with a... uh, well this thing, so I should be prepared to the scenario if we won't get there in time.

[She was as wary of dragons as anyone in Camelot, but Toothless certainly wasn't dangerous.]

I'm glad you won't be on your own, at least.

Toothless... he saved me when I was in trouble. It was a very heroic, and noble act except that it was in the fighting arena, in front of everyone, soooo... They captured him. And now, dad uses him to track down the dragons' nest... Just perfect. [Sigh.]

Yeah it's... It's nice, actually. I mean, not that everything seem to collapse, but that I... have people who believe me.

Poor Toothless! How could they hurt him after he'd done something so brave?

[Even Gwen, with her good heart and eternal optimism, does not know what to make of people sometimes.]

He's still a dragon in their eyes, and... it was pure chaos back there. The fact that he was saving me from an other dragon didn't help anything either.

That doesn't sound so different from Camelot. We're so scared of dragons that we never stop to think that they might not all be the same.
