[have the TARDIS on the Astral Plane, obviously preoccupied and seemingly frustrated]

Why will they not listen? Why will they never, ever listen? I grow weary of their constant arguing. [seems to be holding a conversation with someone else while muttering to herself] No, that is not acceptable. Why can they not understand I won't hurt them? That wretched, useless -- did they just shoot at me?

[long-suffering sigh] I am convinced today is a Saturday. There can be no other explanation.

Then why does it matter whether you correct it or not?

I do not appreciate being shot at, nor do I want them to harm my Doctor.

Oh, that kind of thing, then. Well, I hope that it gets sorted out still. The Doctor is such a nice person, I wouldn't forgive you if you let him get killed~ {Kidding...mostly} It must be nice to not have to worry about your reputation, though.

[narrows her eyes. your joke, it does not sit well with her] I would never let the Doctor die, not if I have any ability to stop it.

Don't be so serious~ I was just kidding. I'm sure that the Doctor and...{Diva pauses, realizing she doesn't know who she's been talking to. She's observant, obviously} You know, I don't believe I caught your name.

I do not care what you meant. [sniffs] I am the TARDIS. You are the vampire, yes?

{Offended!} If you insist on calling me that, I suppose. I much prefer Diva, Miss....TARDIS.

Let's see, would you also happen to be the TARDIS that's, in his words of course, "tempermental, ignorant, childish, and madly devoted to the Doctor"? I heard quite a few things about you from that person~

I was not insisting on anything, I was simply confirming your species. Diva, then.

[stiffens angrily at that] 'That person?' I assume you speak of the Master, then? That insignificant insect knows nothing.

Something like that. {Smiles} The only thing that vampires and I have in common are the fact that we drink blood. I assure you that garlic is no problem and I'm free to walk in the sunlight.

I do believe that was his name, yes~ {She knows his name, but her pride won't let her call another person 'master', whether it's his name or not} He said quite a few things! Like you couldn't cook, are defective, old, and a few other things, but I should save you the trouble of hearing them. It'd only make you angry, so there's no point...

The vampires I knew had no such silly hindrances, either. I believe only humans have taken the name and mangled it so thoroughly.

[purses her lips because yep, that sounds like the Master] If he does not wish to eat the food from my kitchens, he can starve. And whether or not I am old, I am not defective. [clenches her fingers] Might I ask why he was saying such things to you?

Then because I really only know humans, I'd prefer that not be used to describe me. Diva will do just fine.

Oh, he was so happy to have "real food" as he called it at my Christmas party that I had to ask why. Then one thing led to the other, and he told me about you as well as other TARDIS.

Very well, Diva.

Ah, yes. That. [idly rubs her wrist remembering] I doubt he told you much that was true. He has never held myself or other TARDISes with any high regard.

He seemed to hold his own with a very high regard. Ah, talking about his past ones, you'd think that he was a little sad, actually. {Glances at her wrist} Though~ Did something happen~?

Perhaps. He had feelings at one point in time. He has never cared as much as the Doctor, however. [gives Diva a look and lowers her arms to her side] It is nothing. Just a disagreement between the Master and myself.

So then that person has gotten...Well, he's lost his feelings, you think? {Smiles slightly} Oh, I'm terribly sorry then. I hope that it didn't cause any...major problems.

He's become obsessed with destruction and proving himself to the Doctor and forgotten the man he once was, yes. [blank look] No, it did not.
