[It is clear Morgana came in a rush. She is in her nightdress, her hair uncombed, her fingers and wrists unadorned, with a cloak thrown quickly around her shoulders. She had to leave for the Plane before anyone realized there was a fire in her room. She had to find a way to fix it before they found out, because now she knows.

Morgana sits at the edge of the forest. And though she is in disarray, when she puts her inquiry to the Plane, her voice is strong.]

I need to know about the magics found in different worlds. I need to know how they are taught and how they are brought under control.

She inquired openly because she had need, and because Arthur has a long history of ignoring things he doesn't want to believe of her, but Gwen is clever and it is still not something to be spoken about freely.]

You don't need to stand. [he drops from the Plane, and then returns with a bed for her to sit or lie down] Are you hurt?

[clearly she is asking about magic and she's in this state because someone on the Plane attacked her with magic - either accidentally or due to an Experiment or intentionally. That's the only explanation.]

[He rushes over, kneels in front of her and looks her over just to be sure she isn't hurt. She looks distressed and harried - definitely not how he's used to seeing her. It's incredibly worrying.]

I can't say I'm an expert in Fonic Artes, but I can describe the theory if it'll help.

I put on a cloak. [As if that is the problem.] I was trained in the sword. Anyone who holds a sword but cannot use it is a danger to themselves and all around them, but a sword can be put down. A sword is something you choose.

Magic isn't something you choose. It's something you're born with. But I cannot put my friends in danger by holding it blindly and knowing nothing of how it is used.

My nightgown is no less modest than the dresses I wear during the day. It's only woven a little differently and of a more comfortable cloth. If it wouldn't cause scandal, I might wear nightdresses to court.

[She nods.] I have accidentally set fire to one of the curtains in my rooms. I can't let it go on like this. I will hurt someone or be discovered if I do.

I see. [He stops and thinks. Wild talents are unusual in his world, so time to do this logically.]

Because I believe magic is not dangerous and terrible. And when we repeal the laws that ban it, I won't have children gifted with magic running around with no control over their powers. [Yeah, did you hear that 'when'? When they repeal the laws, Morgana is founding Hogwarts.] We will need laws to control it, as we need laws for those trained in weaponry.
