She had to leave for the Plane before anyone realized there was a fire in her room. She had to find a way to fix it before they found out, because now she knows.

Morgana sits at the edge of the forest. And though she is in disarray, when she puts her inquiry to the Plane, her voice is strong.]

I need to know about the magics found in different worlds. I need to know how they are taught and how they are brought under control.

[Morgana is done with the uncertainty, and she is not willing to have a weapon that she doesn't know how to control.]

Are there fonons in your world?

If there are, I don't know of them.

Think of them as elements for simplicity. Everyone in my world has fon slots in their bodies, places they can take the fonons from the air around them to collide with those in their own body. With the use of a verse to control and command the effects, one can then cast fonic artes.

That's a simplified description, but it's the basic way things are done.

In a limited way. I'm not the most talented with fonic artes.

Drawing his sword he debates briefly what arte might interest her most, and decides on the most simple one that will use the most fonons. It's a little weird to use it in this context, considering the last time his used it, but he slashes forward at nothing, drawing in the third fonon and releasing it as a cutting gale.]

And that wind works in battle? [It's just air.]

It's painful enough if it's directed at you.

[He sheathes his sword. He won't demonstrate any more, unless she asks.] It's about control.

[He gestures to the field of fonons left by the arte, not sure if she can really sense it.] Gathered fonons can concentrate when artes are used. That can be useful in deciding what artes to use. When it comes to magic, I'm not really sure if the same principle applies.
