❀ 6 - The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades

[things have been rather interesting for Donna recently, though she thoroughly loved having the power to create anything and had a field day making every single article of clothing, all her shoes, and her hats (just in case) impervious to anything that could potentially destroy them. it's been a real boon, lately, to have--even if she didn't foresee having to leave behind a new pair of boots behind in the mud on some flipping planet being invaded by centaurs. she's still a bit sore about that one.

fortunately, that's the farthest thing on her mind as she appears, shrieking, on the Plane.]

What was that?! Oh my god, what the hell was that?!

[she would look completely shocked and frightened, but she's currently wearing high-tech sunglasses that completely obscure her eyes and eyebrows.]

[quickly] No, it's not that bad! I've got a list going at the information kiosk. [optimistically] Maybe somebody's even reported your ring already!

Ohhh, look at you. "A list", eh? [she smiles teasingly] Go on, what harm could there be in looking? [though if others have lost rings...well...]

[oliverplus]

[pouts at her] Well, more people 'll see that than just remember to ask people!

[nods eagerly] Yeah, good idea. Let's go look! [he's already inching in that direction, even as he waits for her reply]

[sometimes, you remind her of an eager puppy, Oliver] Lead the way, Ollie-boy!

[grins] On it!

[and he is at that, leading her directly to the information kiosk] Here we are! [he gestures at the list rather proudly, turning to see what she thinks]

[reads the list] Is that it? [sounds a bit disappointed] I mean, I see a ring here, but it might not be my ring. I can't be the only person on the Plane who lost a ring.

[Oliver looks just as disappointed at her reaction] If everyone's lost only one thing, you could be! Maybe a write note back describing it?
