[Hei appears in his black coat this time, right after this. He almost collapses the moment he steps onto the Plane, but he manages to stay standing. He's pale and haggard and is clutching a rather nasty gash on his side which looks like it was made by a sword or perhaps a metal pole thrown at high speed. He's bleeding quite a bit.

Once he has steadied himself, he makes his way to the closest solid object, which happens to be the bar, and he sits down with his back to it. He winces as he presses harder at the wound. Not fatal, he decides, but he's not going anywhere anytime soon either.]

Think I need a medic...

[Chokes a bit when she sees him and is down next to him in a second, trying to put pressure on the wound.] Li-kun! What...?

Moratoria. [Looking between Kirihara and the Doctor.] I'm okay, I just need it wrapped or something...

[listens before popping off the plane and returning with a first aid kit, which has a green crescent moon logo upon it] I'm out of nanogenes, we'll just have to use good old biorepair. [pulls out a tube of blue paste like stuff] Lift the cloth a way a bit?

[Misaki, meanwhile, has gone the color of inedible swiss cheese. She whispers, a mix of awe and absolute horror,]

Five?

Five. They're gone now. [Pulls his coat out of the way so the Doctor can work.] Thank you.

[spreads the oddly warm paste on it] This won't fix it entirely but it should help. What's this 'Moratoria'?

[Misaki holds the coat out of the way so Li doesn't have to.]

A Contractor that doesn't know when they're using their ability. They have no obeisance, but no conscious ability to control their powers, either. They... disconnect, when their power is triggered, and annihilate anything nearby.

[dkjflakjds Hei is Not Happy, but he's also quite exhausted and in a fair amount of pain.]

[Cold look] I told him about the existence of Contractors, yes.

[The statement tells him enough to know he's not in any direct danger, at least. So he says nothing and lets the Doctor work.]

[glances at Hei] I'm more concerned about the gash, promise. Though, this should be fine. [sits back, resting his arms on his knees] Just don't poke at it. So, basically, five super-powered people who couldn't control their abilities?

[Depressed Misaki is depressed.] Five super-powered killing machines, prone to sprees of consciousness, denial and intense guilt.

[Muttered,] And insanity. [Gives the Doctor a weak smile.] Thank you.

Oooh, sounds like people I know. [smiles back] You're welcome. You make these sorts of Contractors sound rare, though.

[Misaki lets her grip on Li's coat go gently.] They are. A high-school girl who'd become a Moratoria once necessitated the evacuation of an entire section of Tokyo. Five at once--it's a miracle the city's even still there.

[Pause.] This confirms something though. Our realities... really are separate. The Moratoria--that many never appeared at once in my world.

[This is a bit worrying.] Never?

[just sitting back listening, then says mildly] Could be a number of things, really.

[Misaki sits herself down on the Plane, looking ready for some aspirin. She'll have to bring some of that next time.] No. I don't think we've had five total since the Kashiwagi girl.

[To the Doctor,] What sort of things?

[Hei wouldn't mind some himself. Eyes go distant at the mention of Kashiwagi--not a fun case.

Then looks between them, somewhat wary.] Five at one time--it shouldn't have happened at all. It should have been impossible.

[Narrows his eyes.] So who do we know here who can do the impossible?

[nods at Hei] He's got the right idea. Something impossible happening goes back to the biggest impossible thing: this place. It might be another reality test.

[The thought makes Misaki feel sick. She whispers,] I hope not. Five Moratoria... Are those Twins really that sadistic?

[Gives her a hard look.] They sent an innocent teenage girl into my world during the reality switch. They don't care about us.

[Returns it, because she doesn't feel like being patient, wound or no.] That was largely rhetorical.
