[This time, when Jamie appears on the Plane - still in his 'borrowed' armour - he has a cube with him, about the size of a basketball. Made from some black material that almost seems to absorb the light of the stars above, it appears to be completely smooth, with no discernible features to it. He turns it over in his hands as he starts towards the kitchen, but he's an awfully long way away from there, and quite hungry at the moment.]
Och, I wish I could get to the kitchen faster.
[With a *whuft* of displaced air and a bit of a light show, Jamie vanishes, then reappears just outside the entrance leading to it. Needless to say, that's more than a bit confusing, and he turns around in a circle while trying to figure out what's going on.]
Hey?
[OOC: Have a confused Highlander who is now a god, folks.]

[Right on cue, a 99 appears in his hand, which startles Jamie rather noticeably.]
How...?

[With dismay, Jamie realizes if it is, then he would have had to die too, and that's a really uncomfortable sort of thought.]
No, it can't be that. I would have remembered if I died. Wouldn't I?

[but he can guess now that Jamie must have seen his conversation with Sefton. he's just not sure what to say about it, so he focuses on calming Jamie down first]

Like the Doctor. And whoever did the blood... I don't know who all. Just...it seems like people are doing things they shouldn't be able to. Haven't you noticed the weird places appearing?

[Jamie looks somewhat sheepish, but he has been rather distracted as of late, especially with trying to figure out this cube-thing he's gotten ahold of. He's about to mention it when the rest of what Oliver said sinks in.]
Wait! Ye said the Doctor can? And what blood?
no subject
[wow, clearly you haven't been on the Plane much lately, Jamie] Blood all over the Plane? Uh...I take it you missed that.

I wasn't here for very long before it went away. [Timing is everything, apparently.] I take it was someone with these powers that did that, then.

Hey, could I not just think of it as being not as melted, though?
[And the slightly melty-looking cone shimmers and goes back to what it looked like when Jamie first summoned it.]
That's better.
[And he starts on eating the 99.]

[The words are a little muffled sounding, thanks to eating, but no matter. Another ice-cream appears, helpfully hovering in mid-air in front of Oliver.]

So which Doctor can do things like this, anyway? Or is it all of them?

[He looks at Oliver rather thoughtfully for a moment.]
What about you, Oliver?

[pauses, considering for a moment before he adds a little nervously:] Like I said, it's nothing to do with, you know, dying.

So ye just have those other powers, then. The ones ye thought would be better to hide from your friends.
no subject
That...I was wrong. I should've told you. And my best friends.
no subject
Aye, ye should have. If nothing else, do ye not think we deserve the right to know if we do die here, we're going to come back with more than black blood?

[hesitantly] The Doctor said it fits me--that I can use it to help people. I can do, sometimes. Maybe that's why it's different for everybody.
