[This time, when Jamie appears on the Plane - still in his 'borrowed' armour - he has a cube with him, about the size of a basketball. Made from some black material that almost seems to absorb the light of the stars above, it appears to be completely smooth, with no discernible features to it. He turns it over in his hands as he starts towards the kitchen, but he's an awfully long way away from there, and quite hungry at the moment.]
Och, I wish I could get to the kitchen faster.
[With a *whuft* of displaced air and a bit of a light show, Jamie vanishes, then reappears just outside the entrance leading to it. Needless to say, that's more than a bit confusing, and he turns around in a circle while trying to figure out what's going on.]
Hey?
[OOC: Have a confused Highlander who is now a god, folks.]

So Aster, with a sandwich in one hand, is near the entrance when someone pops out of nowhere.]
Hello.

[He blinks, doing a sudden double take at the man with the sandwich. A man who, incidentally, looks vaguely familiar.] Hey, don't I know ye from somewhere?
no subject
[Now this man has Aster's full attention. Was he new here? Or is the ability to teleport not something he normally possesses?]
I don't think we've ever met before now.
no subject
I've not ever been able to do that before.
[He rubs at the back of his head for a moment, then looks at the man again.] I'm sorry, it's just that ye look familiar somehow. My name's Jamie.
no subject
Nice to meet you, Jamie. My name is Aster.
[If he's been here, he might have seen Emil. Aster smiles a little.]
There's another here, named Emil, who you might have seen. We have a similar appearance.
no subject
[That might make some other things make sense, as well.]
...Did ye happen to run into someone named Marta, by chance?
no subject
[Now that he looks back, he can sort of understand what caused her to react in that way.]
no subject
[He was more concerned with making sure she was okay then making sense of the story, alas. He goes to shrug at Aster, and his eyes wind up alighting on the sandwich, which reminds him the reason why he was so bent on getting to the kitchen in the first place.]
Say, what do they have for sandwich things in there today, anyway? Roast beef?
[He's rather hopeful that there is some, because he could go for a roast beef sandwich right about now. And, as he thinks about that, one appears in mid-air between the two of them.]
no subject
Once again, he finds his attention diverted elseware. There's a sandwich floating in the air! He stares at it and brings a hand underneath the levitating sandwich to catch it if it falls before Jamie can grab it.. ]
I take it this doesn't normally happen here. You appeared here without warning and now this.

[Maybe they need some salt and vinegar, he thinks. And, just then, a little container of each pops into existence just off to Bob's side, handily set up on a small table along with some other sauces. Jamie startles visibly, then stares.]
Did ye see that?!

Look, my point is, the only time I've seen things appear out of thin air is when someone brings something to the Plane with them. Not all by themselves like that.

I-I don't know. I was halfway across the Plane a moment ago.

All I did was wish I could get here faster, and all of a sudden, I appeared where I am right now.
