[Dino appears on the Astral Plane, but he is not alone. Enzio, his pet turtle is with him, and currently the size of a large dog. Thankfully Enzio is unable to move because he is on his back, his leg waving around in midair. Enzio has a rather spiky shell now, so he cannot get up but that doesn't stop him from snapping at anyone who gets close. Dino, who has been kneeling on Enzio's stomach, quickly gets up and poofs away only to come back with...a battery operated hair dryer! This he turns on and begins to play it over Enzio..who starts to steam. He's humming as he works.]

That's too bad. Turtles usually like water, right?

All the books I read said they like water, but after Enzio hurt a couple of people because he got so big I decided to keep him away from water. It doesn't seem to bother him any.

Ah, well. Then it's for his own good, as well as the good of others. It would be unfortunate for someone to misunderstand and possibly harm him.

I would be sad if Enzio got hurt, but usually I'm more worried about him hurting other people. He doesn't like to listen to me when he gets big...

Really? Heh, then I guess it's good you're keeping him away from water.

How did you meet him, anyway?

Reborn gave Enzio to me. I asked him for Leon but he gave me Enzio and said Leon was his partner.

Ah! A nice gift, then. And Leon, is he another, um, sponge snapping turtle?

No, Leon is a shaping shifting chameleon.

[Chuckles.] Wow. Your world has so many interesting animals.

[Laughs] I guess it does. But there only seems to be a few animals like Leon and Enzio. [Enzio is now about the size of a cat]

Do you know of any other kinds?

I've heard of a eagle that's intelligent, a giant octopus that follows it's owner around on land, a black frog that can turn into a floating yellow salamander...and that all I've heard of.

Your world seems quite...unique.

It's actually pretty normal, there are just a few strange things around.

[Laughs.] Sounds a bit like my world, then.

What sort of strange things do you have in your world?

[Vague smile.] Well the Gate itself is pretty strange. The fact that our stars are fake seems to be strange to most people here. And the Gate produces weird things, like...[Tries to think of an example,] stone flowers that grow like normal flowers.

This Gate of yours sounds...interesting. Never heard of fake stars before either.

[Smile fades somewhat.] Interesting. And dangerous.

Most people haven't. I seem to be the only one here with fake skies.

[Dino decides not to press any further. He knows how it is to have things you don't want to talk about. Besides Enzio is back to normal now.] There, finally done! [Big grin]

[Laughs.] Good for both of you.

[And here is Enzio pulling back into his shell as Dino picks him up.] He must be really tired now..

You could let him sleep here on the Plane. It's relatively quiet once you get away from the crowds.

You don't have to worry about Enzio. Once he's out he'll sleep through anything.[Fire fights, explosions, Dino jumping out of a second story window] It's when he's awake and decides he wants to explore that he gets in trouble. [And Dino slips Enzio into an inner pocket of his coat]

[Smiles.] He really sounds like quite the pet.
