[she clears her throat]

Excuse - excuse me. After everything that happened and everyone being stuck here, there was a lot of things we didn't know. In order to avoid too much confusion in the future, or if people leave and new people find themselves stuck here, I thought it would be a good idea to collect information we can look back on later. Of course - of course this isn't required, but it would be really helpful. So - so if you could fill out one of these surveys and put it in the basket when you're finished it would really help, it would help a lot!

If anyone has an idea of where we could keep this information, it would help out a lot, too. The library doesn't seem like such a good idea now. I can take care of organizing and managing it, but it would be very welcome if anyone had space here to offer.

[she looks to the bowl and items on her right]

Also, [she fidgets, looking down and blushing, before looking up, determined once again] in my universe it's approaching the winter holiday season and I thought, maybe, we could use this as a way to get to know each other. So if anyone would be interested in doing a Secret Santa you can put your name in the bowl here. When it looks like we have enough people we can draw names.

And - and if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know!

[she bows] Thank you.

An excellent suggestion. [Braxiatel smiles warmly at Sawako.] It's very nearly the Christmas season where I'm from as well.

[The surveys can of course wait for later. For now, Brax writes his name on a piece of paper and drops it into the bowl.]

Is it? I wasn't even sure if everyone here even celebrated those holidays. But - but that's great. I thought, if enough people were interested, maybe we could even have a party. It would be a much more relaxing way to get to know each other.

It's been too long since we've had one, and this is a good reason for it. [He picks up the papers and starts looking through them.] It might be interesting to have different people bring different things for the affair. A truly multicultural experience, embracing the panoply of multiple realities.

That would be great - it would be really, really great. Do you have any ideas, ah -

[and she turns red, and then bows apologetically]

I became so caught up in all these details that I forgot to introduce myself. I'm very sorry! I'm Kuronuma Sawako. It's very nice to meet you.

And it's a pleasure to meet you, Sawako-chan. [Apparently, he's in one of his more charming moods; his smile is one of friendly good humour.] Irving Braxiatel.

[she blushes at the use of her given name]

Thank you, Braxiatel-sama. [she bows again] Do you have any suggestions for what kind of things we'd need to make a successful party?

Well, food and drink, of course. Music. Some sort of Christmas tree would be nice, somewhere we can all put our gifts for one another. And I think fake snow would be rather festive, don't you?

Fake snow would be very festive! That all sounds really good. Really really good.

[and her mind drifts to images of the most festive Christmas party ever with everyone wearing Santa hats and lots of tinsel and trees and glasses of champagne and her mind continues drifting]

[she blinks looking at Brax, fidgety and shy]

Oh - oh, and maybe karaoke?

A splendid idea! I've never seen karaoke at Christmas. That will be much fun.

Do you enjoy music, Braxiatel-sama?

Very much so, Sawako-chan. Music is perhaps one of the purest expressions of art.

Is it? I don't really know about that, but I do know I like it, and it's even more fun when you can share it with others.
