[Isaac looks like he's been crying - his eyes certainly look scrubbed at enough - but sitting at the bar with a large mug of something, he doesn't seem at all sad. In fact, quite the opposite. He looks....lighter.]

I know I wasn't dreaming this time. I think...yeah. Everything's gonna be alright.

Everyone in Vale is an adept, pretty much. I guess we don't need to hide anymore, now that Alchemy is free. If the eruption of psynergy stones was any indication, I think a lot of people are going to start realizing that they're adepts.

[blinks, trying to understand] You mean 'cause they'll find stones and be able to use them?

Well, psynergy stones are concentrated psynergy, and a lot of people who came into contact with them developed the ability to use it. Being near one for a long time had the same effect, which is why everyone in Vale was an adept. Alchemy being free should spread it out a lot more evenly, so it'd be like being near a Psynergy stone all the time.

Ohhhh! So that's a good thing, right? I mean...nobody's got anything against magic where you're from?

Most people didn't even know it existed.

[but then he thinks about his own situation, discovering about aliens and time travel. is it really so different?] Then again, maybe that's not so surprising. You think they're ready to learn about it? The people who didn't know, I mean.

Alchemy has been sealed for thousands of years. I guess people just forgot.

I don't know if they're ready or not, but the world was going to die without it. We didn't really have a choice.

Wow. [Oliver is, naturally, used to planets being in need of saving, but Isaac seems so young...]

But things are better now, right? Your world's been saved?

Should be. At least, it shouldn't erode away, anymore.

Yeah. Gaia falls was eating away at the edges of the world, and would have kept going if Alchemy remained sealed up.

Ah...not really. When I left home, it was to prevent the Lighthouses from being lit. I...I was lied to.

No....after Felix and Kraden told me...and I'd seen Gaia falls for myself by then... I knew we had to light Mars Lighthouse.
