[Isaac looks like he's been crying - his eyes certainly look scrubbed at enough - but sitting at the bar with a large mug of something, he doesn't seem at all sad. In fact, quite the opposite. He looks....lighter.]

I know I wasn't dreaming this time. I think...yeah. Everything's gonna be alright.

[there's something both very sad and very happy in Oliver's gaze as he looks at Isaac] You're home now, aren't you?

[It takes Isaac a second, but he looks up at Oliver, and simply nods]

Vale was leveled, but everyone got out alright. We're staying in Vault for now.

And your mum's there? She's okay?

Yeah! She was pretty surprised to see Dad though...[A chuckle]

[blinks] What, your dad was travelling with you?

A few years ago he got washed away in a storm. We thought he'd died, but he'd actually been rescued and brought to Prox. We found him at the top of Mars Lighthouse.

[shocked] Whoa, Isaac! That's amazing news! [grins widely, happy for him]

We were worried that Vale was destroyed, and it looks like we were right, but all the people are safe, which is what's important. Now we've just gotta rebuild.

[nods. it's a story he's used to, living on Gondovan with so many refugees] Good luck doing that. I'm sure, with everybody working for it, you'll rebuild in no time.

Yeah. I don't think it'll take too long. There's still a lot of trees around, and a bit of psynergy should get us all the rock we need.

Ohhh, yeah, you can do earth magic, right? That's great!

It'll really help with rebuilding, and with regrowing lost crops, too. It's too late in the year to completely replant them, but we'll need something for the winter.

[curiously] Can you make crops grow quickly with your magic?

We made it home. The village is gone, but...everyone made it out okay. Mum's just fine.

I knew it would be okay. I'm - I'm really happy to hear that.

How is your mother's health?

We're all staying in Vault for now, until we can rebuild.

She's...she's alright. She was pretty shocked to see dad, though.

Hm. A shock like that - a shock like that can't be very good for her health. You'll have to do your best to help her rest so she can recover.

[She pauses, wondering if it's too forward to ask, but then she finally does]

Was your father far away from home, too?

I think it was good for her. She changed a lot after Dad...well.

A few years ago, there was a massive storm in our village, and Dad got washed away in the river. We thought he died, but it turns out he'd been alive the whole time. I...found him at Mars Lighthouse.

That's - that's wonderful. I bet knowing that you and your mom were waiting for him helped him find the strength to survive. And then - and then you found him and brought him back home.

I wonder...[Isaac blanks for a second - for awhile, he was pretty sure he was gonna lose his dad...]

[she tries...and fails, her face looking strained and scary with the effort before she stops trying and starts crying again]
