[you all remember that chunk of beach the Doctor dragged up to the astral plane, don't you? Of course you do! Well, he's standing at it. In the snow. Yes, there's snow. The water is still lapping up on the shore but the sandy beach is mixed with snow. Most of the snow is gathered around the palm trees. The trees themselves have multi-coloured orbs of light floating gently around them.

The Doctor, for the record, is in his blue suit with the long brown coat on and there's a set of wrapped Christmas-looking presents at his feet. He's humming lightly, hands shoved into his pockets, looking around occasionally as if waiting for someone]

Ahh, she was in on it! I'll thank her, too, when I get home. [smiles at her, gathering up snow as he does] You're quite worthwhile just as you are. It was a nice Christmas, yeah? [and now he has a loose snowball] 'Course, best part of Christmas snow is playing with it. [and drops it on her head]

[starts, flailing a little in surprise and falling on her bottom, then tosses some snow up at his face] Doctor! What was that for?

[grins, laughing as he dips down and tosses up more snow at her] This, old girl, is how you play in the snow!

[laughs as well, scrambling away so she can grab some more to toss at him, dress slowly getting soaked through and she doesn't even care] Aren't you a bit old to be playing like this, Doctor?

[snorts and really he looks quite young right now] Old? You're never too old to play in the snow. [is taking particular pleasure in getting tons of snow in her hair]

Is that so? [yes, well, have snow down your shirt, then, Doctor]

[bursts out laughing and ha, snow down your dress, TARDIS. revenge!] I say so, yeah.

[flails and hops around a bit, trying to shake it out, before grabbing more snow and shoving it down the back of his suit where he can't reach it easy] Yes, well, you're still too slow, then~

[jumped a bit but Time Lord, yo. Godmod skills against cold!] I think you're the easier target, here. [just starts shoving tons of snow at her]

[is about now covered in white, though small tendrils of steam rise from around her as her body begins heating to fight the cold, and decides to try a different approach, trying to tackle the Doctor so she can hold him down and pile snow on top of him, instead]

[is taken by surprise and actually falls over into the snow with a snort, coughing from the snow and laughing] You're getting good at this.

[just grins, plopping down on his stomach and beginning to pack snow in around him] Of course I am. I'm good at everything I do, or didn't you know?

[Hi, Kisha! I'm ... lazing about before going to work /o/]

[just letting her because it's her Christmas and she looks happy] Well, you'd have to be very good to be my TARDIS.

[continues making him into a snow mound, because I dunno, it's fun or something. she's weird] I should think it's the other way around and you must be brilliant to be my Doctor.

[Progress! \o\ Excellent news! I've been fending off my cat, personally.]

[the Doctor isn't allowed to question other people's definitions of fun] How about we just say we're both incredibly brilliant?

[good point. and she is having way too much of it. she's begun drawing designs in the snow now covering his chest and arms, writing in Old High Gallifreyan just for kicks] I believe I can agree to that.

[Ugh, logic proofs. *peeks over your shoulder* Licking ... your legs? I suppose that's not worse than sniffing your armpits like my cats do, though]

[amused and really, it's a good thing the cold doesn't bug him too much] What are you writing?

[she'd probably not do it if it did, since she coddles him so] Hnnn? Oh, nothing much, dear Doctor~ [she is, however, a brat. and keeps writing~]

[Really? I almost wanna see it myself, then. Wonder if I could help. And I think all animals are weird in some way, shape, or form. We just got the particularly weird ones.]

[pouts and tries to sit up a bit to see] Go on, what is it? [old high Gallifreyan is hard to read upside down in the snow]

[awww, he shifted the snow a bit and ruined one of her words. now she has to pack on more snow and rewrite it] I was simply writing a description of you, that is all~ [you know, like 'pompous' and 'egotistical' and 'endearing' and 'mine,' things like that]

[Ooooh, sure! I found understanding the material I was struggling on meant more to me than finishing a specific problem, so hopefully you'll be able to do both. And I sporfled out loud at that because of the wording]

[you know you'd think he'd recognize these words, as I'm sure at least a few have been said to him recently, cough] Not sure if I see 'brilliant' and 'good looking'.

[the Doctor mentally protests that. he's very well dressed, thank you.] I should hope I am. [reads carefully] 'Stubborn'? Well, yeah, but with good reason, I think. And...'pompous'? [pouts a bit] I'll give you that one but it's a Time Lord thing, you know. Even I can't avoid it.
