[currently, the Doctor is crawling on the floor in the entrance of the ballroom, occasionally stopping to look and feel under the couches for something. he doesn't show it, but he's been rather shaken up--and he certainly is not happy]

Come on out! I know you're here somewhere. You've got to be! I felt you before you--[he pauses, his hand suddenly darting under a plush chair]--did whatever you did a few moments ago.

[totally ignoring that] I can't say I've ever heard of it. Is it a planet?

Last time I checked it was. Not surprised you haven't heard of it, though. What do they call your planet, out of curiosity? Or are you from the type of place that gives all the creativity to the names of people and simply calls the planet you live on "The World"?

[amused at that] The planet is Auldrant, in orbit around the star Rem.

You know, I'm slightly disappointed it wasn't a longer name. Ah well, better than something generic, but you know, I've never heard of either of those before. Isn't that fun? [he grins. he loves learning things like that]

Not for me. I dislike explaining basic information.

Do you? I think explaining the complex ideas is a lot more time consuming. Well, the ideas are never complex to me, but to others, they usually look at me like I've grown a second head two seconds after I've opened my mouth.

I dislike wasting my time telling people the things they should already know. With complex theories, it's easier to tell them they simply don't have the background to understand it.
