[currently, the Doctor is crawling on the floor in the entrance of the ballroom, occasionally stopping to look and feel under the couches for something. he doesn't show it, but he's been rather shaken up--and he certainly is not happy]

Come on out! I know you're here somewhere. You've got to be! I felt you before you--[he pauses, his hand suddenly darting under a plush chair]--did whatever you did a few moments ago.

[thinks about that for a moment] Sure, I could do with another pair of eyes! Just make sure it doesn't grab you.

Is that right? Never heard of the Malkuth anything. [gives her a once-over] But you know, you look awfully young to have a ward.

What happens if it grabs someone?

Malkuth is one of the countries of my homeworld. [And again, she starts talking, a rather confused expression on her face.] I was responsible for the hyperresonance that transported both of us away from Luke's home. I'm escorting him back to ensure he arrives there safely.

Well...when it grabbed me, I turned up back here. [which...isn't everything, but he doesn't want to scare her] Just...you really don't want it taking hold of you. At least touching it or it touching you doesn't seem to do anything too terribly bad.

I see. [he wonders about her expression] But are you certain? You seem a bit...unsure. Hyperresonance of anything does seem to have that effect. [though it probably acts differently in his reality]

It moves people when it grabs them? While I'm sure it's hardly a pleasant experience, it seems to be more of an annoyance.

[alas, she blurts out her feelings before she can censor them] I'm rather surprised since I can't completely control what I'd like to say.

[quietly] It's worse than an annoyance. When it grabs you, it feels as though you'll never stop falling--until you suddenly do and turn up back at the beginning.

[frowns] You really can't, can you...? What's your name?

[She's silent at his description, eyes widening a little bit.] I'll do my best to be cautious of them, then...

[Without a beat, out it all comes] Mystearica Aura Fende Grants. [And she can't help but clamp a hand around her mouth, more than a little annoyed at delivering the full name]

[arches an eyebrow at that name] Don't suppose you've got a nickname or anything, have you?

[he smiles] Well, nice to meet you, Tear! I'm the Doctor. [holds his hand out] Is that name of yours common where you're from? The full name, I mean. Well, I haven't really heard your nickname all that often either.

My mother was still pregnant with me at the time, so I never knew my homeland.
