[There's a strangely attractive woman taking over your library today, Plane. Sirkka is indulging herself. On the long study table beside her, there's a setting of Earl Grey for four and some delicious chocolate-dipped cookie treats— all things she took from the community kitchen, of course. Sirkka has her long legs crossed over another chair while she sips her tea. She's enjoying her book too much to care about manners, even laughing every once in a while. Must be a comedy right?

Nah, just Twilight.]

This really is like secondary school.

[If one is as empathic as she is, they might detect a sort of dark, lingering thought beneath all of this that she's trying to distract herself from.]

What kind of tea does the future have? I suppose it's more exotic than Earl Grey, huh.

Oh, none. Inara let me try some not long after I met you. It was...um...I don't think she mentioned what kind, actually.

[She looks sad.] I didn't have much tea until I came to the Plane, too. It's hard to find on my world unless one counts the stash of old bagged tea that the old man down the street has, and he uses it to make alcohol. Which tastes terrible. [She laughs lightly.] But this is nice.

{She frowns}

That does seem like it would taste bad... Um, I'll just stick with regular tea, I think! Do people on the Plane share their Tea with you?

[She nods!] Yes. It's kind of a... culture thing, so I'm not sure how to explain it, but tea is a relaxing social activity and a comforting ritual at the same time. I admit I'm a bit rusty, though.

I like it a lot! It's a lot more relaxed than what I would think Papathea's activity would be.

{Slyly} I think you could guess that.

Papathea? [Her lips curl.] ... oh?

The planet where I'm from! Did I not mention what Sky Dolls are, um, for? We mostly work in the sex industry.

No, you didn't. [Her eyebrows jump at that, but to her credit, she doesn't blush.] Oh. Oh. How... interesting. Sex is a very complicated thing, as I'm sure you know. It's a crucial step to redefining the definition of love and trust as well, so I teach it as a part of my therapy sessions.

It's also... a recreational activity. [Smirk.] But I would never judge you for it.

{She laughs} I guess it doesn't seem like a good thing to admit in a first meeting. ...But then again, where I come from, people could tell that just by looking at me, so I'm not really used to it, either.

That's interesting, though, that you use it for therapy! We just use it to cater to men, since it's not a sin to lie with us. But I haven't done that kind of work for a while. I work in a spaceship wash, but it's very sexual anyways, since our uniforms are all like this. It's hard to wash the ships sometimes, though, since your boobs will pop out. I hate it when that happens.

[She laughs behind her hand.] I imagine it would be! What kinds of clothes do you like? Maybe I can loan you some. I like to dress a little daring to be honest. I used to be very conservative, all frills and no shape, with a bob cut for my hair and lots of pencil skirts. I looked like a librarian. It was terrible. My parents made me and I hated every minute of it.

Obviously I grew out of it!

Well, I like your new look, then! Hmm, I don't know if I could wear your clothes back home, since God would get mad, but...

Oh, what if we swapped clothes when we were on the Plane sometime! I have lots, so you could pick something to your taste, probably. I always have to buy my own costumes, so I keep them.

That's a great idea, Noa. I have quite a collection [despite her situation] so I'm sure I can find something you like.

[She pauses, a mischievous smile upon her lips.] I also have a different closet if you're interested in something a little more... adventurous.

Ooh, I'd like to look, at least! I think I was a dominatrix once, since I have this really, um, interesting outfit, so I wouldn't mind looking at things like that. It's pretty cute, once you get past all the red leather.

[She laughs lowly.] I have a couple of those. And some matching outfits for the other person.

Wow! I wonder if I did, too... Or maybe it's better not to know. {She giggles} It would be sad to find out the person with the matching outfit is a total creep!

Unfortunately. Inside my house, there's no need to worry about what kind of person your partner is. Everyone is equal. Trust has to be mutual between everyone involved before we even start on that stage of therapy, anyway.

That sounds really nice. I bet your... Would you call them clients? I bet they're really happy for your help.

They're darlings, every last one of them. I'd do anything for them just like they'd do anything for me.

Did you ever find a journal to write in?

That's really wonderful, then. I hope I can find someone like that someday! I'd like a really nice owner like that.

I did! It's cute and pink. I'm hiding it in that big party-room, since hiding a book here seemed...well, it seemed like a bad idea if I forgot where it was. I guess it would surprise whoever found it, though.

I'm sure you'll find one someday. Not everyone in the world is selfish. [She tries not to linger too long on that thought, because even if Noa found the perfect owner, her memory chip would reset at some point.]

That sounds adorable. Make sure to keep it in the same place, okay?

I think so, too. I mean, I've heard about other Dolls that are privately owned, and they live pretty easy lives with owners that care about them. I don't know if I'd like just that, though. I'd rather go out and see places, you know? It's more fun to live that way. It's why I'm picky about what jobs I take!

But I'll take good care of it, don't worry.

Maybe you can find an owner who has the same sense of wanderlust that you do. At the same time, though, I think you could also do very well on your own. [It's a small experimental poke at freedom, but it's something.]

I think I would have the best luck with a pilot, then! They get to go wherever they want , but I'd have to get really lucky. I don't think they could afford me. {Which is said in the most sweet and innocent way} Unless there are rich pilots? I'm not sure...

I'll have to keep my eyes open! Most of the pilots are too busy staring at certain parts of me to really notice the rest.

I think it could work out. [She pours them some more tea.] Whatever you do, don't betray what you really, really want.
