[Ray is chilling out at the bar like he always does, but things are slightly amiss. Mainly the fact Ray's hand is on fire, and he seems to be regarding it only with some mild curiosity.]

...the hell?

[This certainly is new. It's not really hurting, so he slowly waves his hand in front of him. Nope. Stays on fire. He's also pretty sure he's not so drunk that he's hallucinating his hand on fire.]

Whoa. Well,, that's...good. [is still blinking at his hand like, wasn't that just on fire!?]

Sorry, this is... a bit new. Not quite sure how a bloke reacts to their hand bein' on fire an' all.

I... have no idea. Might as well give it a shot.

[He grabs a chair from the pub. Because you know what, it'll come back, and there must be EXPERIMENTS DONE.]

[can't help a grin. this experiment looks like fun!] Just don't set the whole bar on fire! [he's teasing, really. except that he would hate to lose all that alcohol]

'm not gonna. I know what I'm doin'.

[No. No, he doesn't.]

'sides, place comes back after you wreck it.

[He tosses the chair somewhere. Okay. He has no idea what he's doing, so give him a minute.]

[raises an eyebrow] You sound like you're speaking from experience!

[watches Ray in bemusement, wondering just how this is going to go but a little excited about it, too. this is just cool]

[Ray isn't sure how he's going to do this. His hand catches fire again, the flames spread down his forearm some. He inhales, and sweeps his arm across and forward, as if trying to see if, he doesn't know, transfer the fire from him to somewhere else.

Surprise, it works. The chair is on fire.

Ray smirks.]

Oh, wow! Look at that! [just glances between Ray and that burning chair for a moment like, wow, I can't believe you really did it!]

[and then it sinks in that the chair is really burning--and the floor is likely to catch next] Uh...how are we gonna put it out? [glances around the bar]
