{A young girl comes onto the Plane. Well. She looks like a girl, anyways. For those sensitive to such things, she's actually an android with some biological parts. But only where it counts, bb. And the places where it counts are all scantily clad, revealing the joints that make it obvious that she's a mechanical being of some sort}

... Um, crap! This doesn't really look like God's office, but...did he change the decor without telling us? Oh no, did my Mnemonic Limiter go off already?! That wasn't supposed to be for another few months. Wait, that's not possible! I definitely wouldn't remember God if that were the case!

{She looks thoughtful, but not that bothered by the sudden space, so she take a few steps}

Hellooooooo!! Are you there, God? It's me, Noa! If this is your new office, it's really bad taaaaaste!!

{But with no immediate response, she just smiles, starting to walk towards the nearest...thing.}

Actually, since he never listens to me anyways... I guess a look around wouldn't hurt! I've never been off of Papathea before... Oh my god, wait, I was in the middle of washing that Spaceship!! Uh-oh, where is my sponge?! I'm really in trouble now...!

Well! My Mnemonic Limiter prevents me from retaining long term memories, so every six months or so, I can't remember anything but my basic operational functions and the knowledge that I'm programmed with. So even though I switch jobs pretty often, I can only remember the last three.

That's... [She obviously doesn't approve, but keeps that to herself.] When it gets close to the six month mark, you could give your records to someone here on the Plane. Hopefully they'd give it back to you when you lost your memories.

Ah, right. There's a library that way, [she points] so I'm sure you can find something in there to write on until we can find you a proper journal. I'd give you one myself but— they're a bit hard to put together on my world with such short notice, so I'll have to ask a friend of mine.

Hmmm... I only meant in terms of appearance, really. Hair color's usually blond, red, brown, or black. Most people are darker-skinned than I am. Eye color can be anywhere from blue to dark brown. And people can be really tall or really short...

[She thinks.]

The main thing is that their ears are round, and they've got no tails. That sort of thing tends to scare them, but you're very cute so you should have no problem making friends.

Earth people are wonderful. They can survive the most terrible thing and move on, all without losing their hope for a brighter future.

Hmm, that sounds pretty different from the people of Papathea, then. Even the last part, which is sad, now that I think about it. Do you have anything like... um... A big church? Or religion? I don't know how to explain it.

Ah... there were many different beliefs on Earth, once. More than I can even begin to list. Now, I'm not so sure... We have no preachers or pastors in Whitechapel where I live, so religion is mostly a very personal thing.

Well, that sounds sort of similar... There's only one religion on Papathea. But if someone isn't telling you about religion, how can you practice it? Umm, not to be insulting, but I'm curious!

Some people pray in their homes rather than in big churches or cathedrals, or they say that the Bible is the only guidance they need. Nothing about religion is universal, I've found.

The only thing I preach is love.

Not at all, I don't think. Well, they don't really bother teaching Sky Dolls about that kind of thing, but we just kind of learn about it from the people we work with.

I would like that a lot! Though, umm... Even if that sounds bad, I think I'm lucky because I get to choose where I work and who owns me. Most of the other Sky Dolls don't get that chance. But if I have a problem, I'll ask you, Sirkka.
