[In the wake of all the death and the fighting and the dying and so on, the Doctor is sitting cross-legged on the ground, thinking. Though how much thinking she can manage to do is dubious, because she is very often distracted by a border collie puppy running around and tripping over itself and going OMG OMG OMG LOOK AT THIS!!! and licking and sniffing and in general being super-excited to be here.

They're going to get along fabulously.

She's also got the broken pieces of his shell in her lap, because it didn't seem quite right to just leave it behind. Not to mention, she might want to run tests on it, because of the whole dog from an egg thing.]

[There's a satchel that Jamie has with him, slung so the strap crosses his chest. It appears that it's stuffed full of something, and Jamie glances at it when he hears the word 'egg'. Three guesses what it is!!!]

Oh! Aye, I've seen the eggs. I'd not realize they hatch dogs, though.

[Which is odd, but Jamie likes the idea well enough. He likes dogs, and is going to give the puppy a good solid ear rub now with his hands. His palms seem to be a bit whiter than usual, which might be due to the bandages covering them. He is completely trying to hide them from Three by continuing to give the dog lots and lots of attention.]

[Despite being a cat person, Brax is also a things/people/stuff person, and a dog is a thing/person/stuff that could, in theory, be collected. So he appreciates the puppy.]
