[There is a coin operated boy sitting on the Plane. Well, he isn't coin operated but a few people might know he's a statue now. Either way, he seems oblivious to everything around him. He has one of his sleeves rolled up and is examining his arm, which doesn't look quite human and has tiny cracks running down it. With a slight frown, he runs his hand over them but nothing happens.

After a moment he just sighs and tugs the sleeve down.]

It is a keepsake from me.

[a pause, then]

All right.

[Argentine gives him a small smile.] Thank you.

[Satoshi just nods, then draws away]

Your repairs are complete.

[He sits back and nods.] I feel better now.

[After a pause, he says.] They seem to have boosted the Qualia aspect of me.

[he frowns, because he thought he sensed that, but he was sure he was mistaken.]

To what extent?

[Argentine holds up his hand and snaps his fingers, causing an electrical spark.] It seems to have given the same abilities as before to a much lesser extent. There is no strain on my body.

[Satoshi frowns for a moment. He holds a hand over Argentine's head, and shuts his eyes, and listens. Passive magic does no damage to his body. Then he nods.]

It should be safe.

[He tilts his head.]

Are you worried?

[almost smiling] Are you going to kidnap any more maidens?

[He shakes his head.] It seems the maiden I sought was Qualia all along.

Then there is nothing to concern me.

[Argentine nods.] There is irony in this, however. To give me the power to fight after I am broken in battle.

Maybe it's meant to compensate.

Does that imply more fighting?

It's a possibility.

I hope not. You still have not been called to fight?

Not yet.

Good. Perhaps I was able to prevent it after all.

[He isn't sure, but he would like to give Argentine that hope.] Maybe. We'll know in time.

[Argentine nods, then stretches.] Despite feeling the awakened parts of Qualia, my energy is spent. [So he rests his head on Satoshi's shoulder, eyes shut.]

[He pauses for a moment, and then]

Argentine. I have to go home.

[After a moment, Argentine sits up and nods, though he still seems tired.]

Of course, Creator.

Do you want me to take you to the library?

[He nods.] It is very comfortable there.
