[If anyone happens to be passing by that theatre from the 1920's, they will hear a film being played. If they care to venture inside, they will see the Doctor sitting there with a bag of popcorn. He's not really watching the film, though it may seem that way -- he's waiting. And he's chosen this particular film for a very specific reason....bait.

Because really, how could the Master resist a classic like The Care Bears Movie?]

[looks between the Doctor and the film for a moment before he bursts out laughing. makes his way over to him, taking a seat and reaching for the popcorn] Your taste in films has sure changed!

[The Doctor chuckles, handing the popcorn over] I thought it was appropriate. And it's not for me.

[takes a handful and starts to munch] Really? Who's it for?

[Drawn in by the noise, Jamie stops just inside the doorway and stares at the screen. It takes him a little bit to realize the Doctor's here. Once he does, however, he makes his way over and sits down. And, of course, asks questions.]

I didn't even know spoilers was an argument to be had. Am I allowed to ask you why you're asking all of a sudden?

[a pause, because she's so used to this Doctor hiding his emotions that it's startling to see him so vulnerable. She takes a step closer, hesitant, as if navigating landmines]

Something bad is happening, or it's gonna happen, is that it? You're back in Cardiff or something, yeah?

[Navigating landmines is a good way of putting it. He shakes his head, though.] Not yet. Just had a bit of a chat with the Master, and it came up. [and the understatement of the century award goes to...]

[oh, he does wander in and even picks up his own bag of popcorn before he heads in, locates Nine and sits right down next to him, immediately propping his feet up on the seats in front of him]

Ohh, I haven't seen this in ages! Shame I missed the beginning.
