[Another day, another training session in the Coliseum. Today is different, though. Instead of simply beating up the dummies, Haseo also seems to be practicing defensive moves using the twin blades. Blocking attacks. Evasion. That sort of thing.

She seems to be blocking and evading very
specific attacks as well - attacks from enemies that she's dealt with before. Quick enemies. Enemies with a height advantage, either a very slight one or a more noticeable one. Enemies she knows well, battles she's fought before. Not battles she wants to fight again, from the look on her face - if you bother to get that close, that is.

...

So, feel like bothering the person with the blades? :D;]

[Hey look, it's a Kuhn, standing at the edge of the ring and watching.]

Getting ready for something big?

Training for kicks, then? C'mon, Haseo. Surely there are more fun things to do with your spare time.

Heh, good point, then. You could always find a hobby other than training though, right?

Me? [He shrugs a shoulder.] I pull two jobs, so I don't really have a lot of spare time. But when I do, I go to parties or play video games.

The Lost Grounds? Well, yeah, there's that. Heh, if they're anything like the ones I know, I could always help you a bit with it. Somehow.

Yeah, they're at the very least time-consuming. But more importantly, they're great sources of entertainment. They're even starting to be considered forms of art.

[He nods.] In mine, Megin Fi was supposedly built on the back of a dragon that got turned to stone, or something. I'd have to double-check. It's been sealed off by the system admin, though. We can't get there.

[He laughs a little] Some of them are, yeah. Mostly, they're just fun to mess with.

Essentially, yeah. Remember, in my reality? It's just a game.

Maybe you could make one of the first. You'd make a ton of money!

[identity profile] silenteden.livejournal.com 2010-05-29 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Well, why not do that, then? Aren't there plenty to explore?

[identity profile] silenteden.livejournal.com 2010-05-29 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
In my world? [He thinks about that for a minute.] Probably, yeah, depending. They'd take into account how long the family was gone, whether it was apparent that they had any enemies, if someone even bothered to notify the authorities that someone was missing... you know?

[identity profile] silenteden.livejournal.com 2010-05-29 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously? Huh. Yeah, that is pretty weird. You really think you'll find something, though? Usually when someone's pulling strings like that, it gets buried pretty deep.

Hey, no problem! Not entirely sure how I helped, though...

[identity profile] silenteden.livejournal.com 2010-05-29 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
Wow. Well good luck, then. [He grins a bit.] I'd help if I could, but I can't exactly get to your reality now can I? Better ask the your-me for help.
