[And once again, there is a newcomer to the Plane. This one appears to be a fairly short man with dark brown hair, who is wearing a black shirt that laces at the collar and a red kilt - one Jamie McCrimmon, by name. He stumbles for a moment, caught in mid-stride, then stops dead in his tracks.]

Hey! Where did that wee shop go?

[He glances around in bewilderment.]

Och, where am I?

[Scratching his head as he tries to figure this out, he turns and finds himself face to face with a strange building with the word 'Information' printed on a sign. He stares at it for a moment before reaching forward, taking one of the brochures, and starting to read.]

An "out-of-your-universe-experience." Not that again. A brico...what?

[This is all too confusing. He crumples up the brochure and throws it away, then sets off from the kiosk.]

Maybe if I can find the Doctor...

[Looking around, though, that seems to be an impossible task.]

Aye, well. Someone with some sense has to be around here somewhere. I'll just ask them.

[she sighs, rolling her eyes a bit] I meant, is she a friend?

I know what the word means. [It was that suggestive trailing off afterward that caused him to overreact just a bit. To his credit, he's looking apologetic about that.] But, aye. She is a friend.

[almost wistfully] Although...I've not seen her for some time now.

[softly] She left then, huh? I can't imagine such a thing.

Aye. [He puts rather a lot of feeling into that one simple word.]

She...well, ye know what it's like to travel with the Doctor. She said she was tired of there always being some sort of crisis, and wanted some peace and quiet. I tried to get her to stay with us, but...

[He trails off. It's not as bad for Jamie now as it was when she first left, but there's a part of him that still misses her.]

Maybe I can talk the Doctor into going back to see her someday.

Perhaps it'd be good for him, seeing an old friend again. [though as she says it, she remembers how he was after saying good-bye to Martha. maybe it would do more harm than good in the end, but wouldn't a moment's happiness be worth it?]

But good for her knowing when to get out. Sounds like a smart one, that Victoria.

Maybe. I don't know. I asked him, once, if he'd not go back and get Zoe.

[He figures he'd better fill that information this time, so Donna doesn't have to ask.] She was with us after Victoria left, aye? He said he didn't think it would be a good idea.

[after a moment] Although, I wonder...och, never mind. Do ye travel with anyone else, then? Or is it just the Doctor?

[she's not surprised that he didn't wish to go back.]

It's just me and the Doctor. A friend of his named Martha came along with us on one trip, but she's home again.

[Jamie's not completely surprised, either, but that's only because he has an inkling of what the Doctor agreed to just to get -Jamie- back in the first place.]

It's just the two of us now as well. It's not so bad that way.

[There's a tiny bit of a smile that appears.] It's not like ye have time to get bored anyway, aye?

[laughs] Yeah. I can definitely say my time with the Doctor has never been boring, not even for a second.

Aye. [He nods in agreement, then seems to come to some sort of decision and gets up from the chair.]

Ye know...I think I'll just go see if maybe he's not here after all, if ye don't mind?

[smiles] No, not at all. If you do find him, let me know! I'd love to meet your Doctor.

I will. I think he might just like ye. [After all, Jamie's had an enjoyable conversation, and can't imagine it not being the same for her and his Doctor.]

I'll see ye around, then.

[Lifting his hand in a wave, he heads off in the direction of the kiosk again.]
