[Damon appears on the Plane with a frown, simply taking everything in for a moment.] This place is unlike any “machine” I’ve ever seen. Clearly it isn’t Time Lord technology. [he glances at the stars] Especially because they seem to have forgotten the correct placement for a several of these constellations. I wonder how it works?
[and he wanders, exploring his surroundings, before discovering a certain black hole that isn’t a black hole] Now that’s odd. What’s a black hole doing in the middle of a machine like this? Some sort of energy source, perhaps? But it isn’t even functioning properly...
I suppose this is what I get for wanting to see the universe. [and then, he pales a bit] I do hope there’s a way back. I’m not quite ready to prove Commander Maxil right just yet.

[in an amused, yet slightly smug voice:] Lucky for you, Commander Maxil won't be able to discover your absence. He's back on Gallifrey, skulking away.

Are you a Time Lord, too?

[blinks, surprised at how specific that was. then again, he's definitely gotten the impression by now that the Doctor's one of the only Time Lords who associates with humans] Yeah, he is! I travelled with him for a while. How do you know him?

You won't have to prove anything to Commander Maxil, fortunately. Do you want the brief summary on paper or a long and meandering back-and-forth in words?

PARDON MY FAIL ahhem
dressrobe] Thank you. ...Forgive me, but you seem vaguely familiar, and you spoke of Commander Maxil and Straxus as if you knew them. But I can't sense you.Re: PARDON MY FAIL ahhem
