[Gene appears, a sandwich stuffed into his mouth, a cig in his other hand. he may or may not have stolen said food from a suspect currently being held at CID. he'll never admit it if you ask, anyway. at any rate, he's grinning maniacally from behind his sammich] Gene Genie: 1. Scum: nicked.

[drinks his own, making a face, and pours them both another] This'll probably be your last, brat.

[have a glare, Gene] I can do it! [and, well...she does drink it at least but definitely shuddered. she's small built and eleven, this won't end well]

[notes this and gives her only a half cup for her next one] Your own hangover, then.

[drinks it slower and sets the cup down heavily, blinking at Gene] What's a hangover?

Your head feels like it's gonna explode, throat gets dry. You puke a lot, too. That's always fun. Puts some hair on your chest the first couple times.

[makes a face and sways a bit] Ne, I don't want hair on my chest.

Then grow some tits. [pretends to pour her another cup but doesn't, handing her the empty container] Wanna call it quits?

[glares a little unsteadily] But then I'll lose! I can handle it!

Suit yourself. [pours himself a couple more cups, which he downs quickly, then offers the bottle to Fumie again, indicating he'll pour her more if she wants]

[nods quickly, causing herself to sway more] Un, try again! [yawns, too. Fumie is a sleepy!drunk!]

[pretend!pours her more, finishing the rest of the bottle himself, making another nasty face] Bloody hell, this shit tastes like piss. [gives her a look] If you're gonna sleep, you should find your bed, girlie, or you're hitting the floor pretty hard.

[takes it the cup and vaguely wonders when she drank it] I'm not...sleepy. [makes a face] Sake is heavy.

[laughs a little to himself, taking a seat and motioning for Fumie to take one, too] You're just a pansy, girlie.

[stumbles over and flops down next to him, glaring quite drunkenly in his general direction] I'm not a flower. At least you didn't say I'm a bird, too.

[watches her, one eyebrow quirked, and plucks the cup from her hand, setting it aside with the empty sake bottle] Fine. You're a wuss. A pushover. A sodding lightweight. Can't hold your liquor. And nah. You're too young to be a bird. Real birds have tits, girlie. You're still in training.

[makes a face] Akira says I won't have breasts and then I'll end up married to a really stupid man.

Only a stupid man would marry a bird with no tits. Even Tyler's holding out for a plod with a decent rack and he's a bleedin' nonce.

[yawns again and slumps, leaning just slightly on Gene] Marriage seems stupid anyway. I wouldn't be a very good housewife. So I probably wouldn't get married.

[gives her a look when she leans on him, then sighs and pulls out a cig, lighting up] You're too young to be thinking about marriage, girlie. Wait a few more years before you start talking like that.

[not moving from her pillow] When did you get married?

That's got nothing to do with you, brat.

[slumps harder against him, shutting her eyes] Maa, that's true but it's just a question...

That you don't need the answer to, girlie. [is obviously uncomfortable with her slumping on him, but isn't so mean he'll move and let her fall to the floor] That, and you're bloody pissed.

[snorts] I like answers... [aand she's going out slowly] Don't tell Sam about this, ne...? [and she's probably not going to hear Gene's comment on that anyway]

[snorts but nods, just glad she's finally quiet] Don't worry about that, luv. He won't hear a thing.
