one: scientific curiousity
[Well, then, if you don’t mind, there’s just going to be a twenty-something young woman entering the plane. Wearing black trousers. a white t-shirt, and a slightly oversized tuxedo jacket, which is naturally very dull and boring and unlikely to last very long as an outfit. She immediately starts inspecting things, because this is all very interesting and unexpected, which is naturally pretty magnificent.]
Coliseum, looks like perfect condition. Completely out-of-place star and nebula patterns, ground made from- [Just a moment, bouncing on her feet a little, then getting on her stomach for a proper inspection.] –I can’t say I recognize this. Reflective qualities; definitely not glass. If I could get a sample off- [She starts patting down her jacket pockets for something useful, and then notices... the black hole. Hel-LO there.]
Someone’s been busy, I can say that. That can’t be- [And as she leans forward for a proper look, she realizes that, hello again, she’s not alone. She addresses the nearest person.] Hello. I’m the Doctor [and you’ve NO idea how good it is to say that!]. I’m a scientist, and just... passing through for a bit. This is a very fascinating environment. Is any of it yours?

{No, no, bad way to meet someone. Let's pretend the second question is more important.} Nah, it's not mine. I think some of it belongs to...uh, people, but not me.

And I thought I liked it when people said my name. Is it really appropriate to call yourself a scientist? You hardly have the qualifications.

And what is this name you like hearing?

1: use of "I" indicates this is some version of herself.
2: body indicates he's from the future, seeing as how she doesn't recognise him.
3: surprise implies he doesn't recognise her, either.
As we use this handy-dandy mental pointer, we show you several conclusions she could draw!
1. amnesia (his)
2. amnesia (hers)
3. another timeline (?)
Thank you for attending the Doctor Thought Lecture Series. Next week we'll be covering usage of thought bubbles! (There may be a test.)]
