...Right, so why do I have to do this?

{Booster just appears carrying a rather odd looking sphere. It's shimmering from the inside, like there was a faulty television screen in there, but as soon as he sets it down, an image appears in it, which then creates a hologram of Arkham Asylum. Not that many people would recognize it, but.}

Okay, so, this is probably going to be kind of weird and reminiscent of a safety brief, but bear with me; it's important, I swear. So, hopefully you all know about the different universes stuff, because if you don't...I don't want to know how you'd explain this away. Anyways, where Peej--uh, Power Girl and I come from, we're part of a sometimes loose association of super heroes. So no questions about the costume, okay? The point is, while there are super heroes, there's definitely villains. Problem is, there's a handful of them that get to come here that come from this place {He gestures to the hologram} which is basically our most notorious insane asylum.

{The hologram shows Eddie first, in his horrible green spandex outfit} So first up, we have Edward Nigma or I think he used Nashton once, too. His alias is the Riddler. He's in the running for worst costume ever, along with Chronos. I think the Riddler is best known for being a pain in the---Okay, he uses riddles. Enough said.

{Now Dr. Crane!} Dr. Jonathan Crane, also known as Scarecrow, is probably the one you need to watch out for the most, since he's almost assuredly to blame for a recent incident. He's a former psychiatrist that messes with your head, but he also uses chemicals of his own invention that draw out the worst fears in people. He also looks like a stick.

{And Harley} Then last from our world is Dr. Harleen Quinzel, if she's still a doctor, I don't know. Her alias is Harley Quinn, and her...thing is using pranks, practical jokes, bad jokes as weapons. That came from a guy who luckily isn't here named the Joker, but she's dangerous in her own right.

{Then a really big question mark} And Power Girl also tells me that there's a fourth inmate here who isn't native to our world. Dr. Arkham said her "name" is Diva, and that she believes that she's a vampire, but he's not quite sure if that's true or not. Any extra information on her would be great. Especially a picture, because I didn't know it was just going to come up as a big question mark.

Anyways, it's better for everybody if you stay away from these four. Chances are, we shouldn't have any problems, but just in case any arise, we're both equipped to deal with them. Oh, and if you know anyone else that could be considered suspicious or dangerous, we'd be very interested to hear about them, too.

So, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me, Booster Gold, or Power Girl. You'll know when you see her because of her awesome boobs.

...Don't tell her I said that.

Seems like a pretty poor way to try to erase you. Hold on a moment, did you say the superheroes' age? As in an entire period of time where people in tights fly around saving people?

Thank God travelling between universes is nearly impossible now.

It's sad that I look less alien than I do. Rassilon, even Straxus looks more normal, and Time Lord robes never work well that way. How does that hologram work? Not 21st century technology.

[using the Power of Manners with a smile] Could I take a look? I did a lot of technical mechanics at the Academy. I don't get to do much anymore, but I love a little intellectual challenge when I can come across one.

And what's a man from another world going to do with that?

[the Master hits the thing with his screwdriver, because this is the efficient way to turn things off so you can examine them]

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-06 07:11 pm (UTC)(link)
[...those keywords]

[but the Master lets his screwdriver drop, content to pick it up later, as he goes over to the orb and starts poking at its structure, clearly just curious about how it's put together]

It won't be damaged. Are all superheroes so irritable? What an awful set of manners. That sort of rudeness can get you shot on some planets, you know. This make would be 31st century human design, but look at that casing. That casing has looks Nellian Era Venusian, don't you think? It's the way the material is bent.

[he glances up at Booster] There's an English expression about inches and miles. Don't worry, Gold. When I 'mess with' important things, as you so eloquently put it, it's intentional. Well, there was that stint at Logopolis, but that was centuries ago. [he has returned to picking at the sphere, sorry, Booster]

The projection technology isn't bad... Do you repair this often?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
[standing, apparently done] Why not?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
But you used to. [now he'll be getting his beloved screwdriver]

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-08 12:46 pm (UTC)(link)
And I assume your... costume no longer needs upkeep either?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-08 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Why not? It's the same era, isn't it?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-09 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry, backtracking for a second, what museum?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2010-02-09 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd be more surprised by museum guards chasing someone through time, but I knew Braxiatel.
