[ When Sefton appears on the Plane, it's a little anticlimactic. In one hand, he's holding his tarot card—the Lovers—while his other hand is up at his mouth, wiping something off. He looks around, uncertain (and maybe a tiny bit guilty) for some reason. ]

Card's still here... Did it work? How'm I supposed to tell...?

[ Standard Sefton disclaimer applies. ]

(ooc: Tarot plot is over! Sefton's checking on whether his voodoo did the job or not; effects should wear off slowly (in about a day or less), but for those with a drastically altered personality or constant power or something, it would probably be sorta noticeable already. Cards can be kept, too!)

[frowns, starting after him. he didn't mean to upset him] Relax! It's not going to hurt anybody if people recognise you. Not here on the Plane.

[polarization]

[ Just... stops walking, half-turns to Oliver, and gives him a glare. Then he turns to look at his shoes. ] Just... forget it.

[oliverplus]

[stops as well, frowning worriedly] I'm not gonna forget you and...look. Even if you don't want anybody to join you or know about it, treat yourself to something for stopping the card thing--or maybe stopping the card thing or whatever it is you've done. People are grateful, even if they don't ever find out it was you. So...just, don't belittle that. Whoever you are.

[polarization]

[ He turns back and simply looks at Oliver for a moment. Then he smirks, a bit, and rolls his eyes. ]

You don't get it.

[ But that's the way he wants it. ]

[oliverplus]

[quirks an eyebrow at that, but it's a much more comforting response than anger] No, I wouldn't. Not yet. I've only just met you.

But enjoy wherever it is you're going.

[polarization]

Doesn't matter.

[ He simply shakes his head and continues wandering off. ]

[oliverplus]

[frowns, pouting after him as he watches him go. mutters to himself] It still does, no matter what you say.

[polarization]

[ His steps don't falter, but there's a half of a pause at some point. He doesn't turn back, though. It looks like he's headed to the kitchen, but it's unlikely he intends to stay there.
