[ When Sefton appears on the Plane, it's a little anticlimactic. In one hand, he's holding his tarot card—the Lovers—while his other hand is up at his mouth, wiping something off. He looks around, uncertain (and maybe a tiny bit guilty) for some reason. ]

Card's still here... Did it work? How'm I supposed to tell...?

[ Standard Sefton disclaimer applies. ]

(ooc: Tarot plot is over! Sefton's checking on whether his voodoo did the job or not; effects should wear off slowly (in about a day or less), but for those with a drastically altered personality or constant power or something, it would probably be sorta noticeable already. Cards can be kept, too!)

[ Absolutely nothing because whatever he did was in self-interest. Totally in self-interest. Sort of.

Sefton tilts the card toward himself when he notices Kyouya, not entirely certain he wants to share what card he received. ]

[Nine is also curious, and wanders over to Sefton] Did what work?

[ Looks at him, slightly wary. ]

It... Do you have a card?

[nods, digging it out of his pocket] I do, yep. Three of swords. You?

... the Lovers. [ Shakes his head. ] Has anything... changed?

[considers that] I'm not sure...haven't had any visions for a bit, but they seem to come at random...

[polarization]

Visions?

Well, sort of. I could only see a few seconds ahead into the future. 'Course, as a Time Lord I can already see everything that has been, everything that is, and everything that could be. So it was more like seeing a fixed point in time every so often, which was a bit disorienting.

[ Time Lord? So this guy's one of the aliens... Oh. He sighs at the information. He's too disappointed to be awed by seeing-all-of-time-at-once right now. ]

'n those... visions come at random? Then I guess there's no way to tell.

Actually...there might be one way to tell. I noticed I felt a bit ill whenever I was separated from my card. [he tosses it to Sefton] Let's find out if it still happens.

Really? [ Sefton catches it, barely. He flips it around to look at, then back to Nine in anticipation. ]

[waits for a few moments, then grins] Fantastic! No reaction at all. What did you do?

[ Looks incredibly relieved as he holds Nine's card back out for him. ] S' a long story. Mostly just followed the clues.

[takes the card. glances at it. and tosses it over his shoulder. HAVE SOME LITTER, PLANE. fff.] Well, that was an impressive bit of detective work! [a pause] I'm the Doctor, by the way, I don't think we were properly introduced last time.

[polarization]

[ Shakes his head. ] We weren't. [ Glaaances behind Nine to where the card landed, hoping to dodge giving his own name. ] Wasn't hard once there were enough clues all put together.

[raises an eyebrow, but if Sefton doesn't want to give his name, the Doctor won't force him] I'm guessing by clues, you mean the notes people got?

[polarization]

[ He nods, ignoring the eyebrow. ] Yeah. Some were more useful 'n others, I guess.

[curiously] Did what work?

[polarization]

[ Small hesitation. ] Uh... [ something of a mumble ] Did you ever get a card?

[oliverplus]

[leans in at the mumble] No, but I heard about those. You mean you stopped them?

[polarization]

[ Small shrug, and he is totally leaning out at Oliver's leaning in. ] Hope so.

Seriously? That's fantastic!

Dunno if it worked, though.
