[it's amazing how someone determined can ignore a lot of snow and such, especially when snow tends to remind her of things she'd Rather Not Think About, but this particular someone is on a mission!
what mission, you ask? why to cook her husband something delicious, since he's been desperate for chocolate of late, apparently
and what's she using? why, the Secret Books of Saxon, of course. because really, where -else- would he put his most favourite recipes?
too bad Lucy's only a mediocre cook, baaaaaw. come make fun of her.
if you dare]

You may want to try a flambé. Something that's supposed to be on fire when you cook it. It makes for an impressive tableshow.

If you're such an expert, why don't you cook for him?
no subject
Oh, I'm sure you'd rather do that.

Diva peers over her shoulder}
Ne, what are you making?
no subject
Ah, well. I'm not sure yet. Harry's been wanting chocolate and things, so I was thinking maybe a cake, but I'm not sure. Perhaps an entree would be better?
no subject
Cakes are a little bit easier to make, though, aren't they?

He looks curiously over Lucy's shoulder at the book]
...well, if it does get a bit out of hand, hopefully all the snow will help contain any unexpected fires.
no subject
Are all of you convinced I'm going to burn the place down?
no subject
[he just shrugs, rubbing the back of his neck]
Oh, I don't know. Stranger things have happened, maybe you'll end up with something brilliant. Well, brilliant is a bit strong. Edible?
[and he continues leaning over, inspecting the book]
So what are you making then?

May I ask what you're making, your highness?
no subject
I believe I've settled on chocolate cake.
no subject
Ah, but chocolate. What a delicious choice. Your husband is very lucky.
Can I be of any assistance, your highness?
