[it's amazing how someone determined can ignore a lot of snow and such, especially when snow tends to remind her of things she'd Rather Not Think About, but this particular someone is on a mission!

what mission, you ask? why to cook her husband something delicious, since he's been desperate for chocolate of late, apparently

and what's she using? why, the Secret Books of Saxon, of course. because really, where -else- would he put his most favourite recipes?

too bad Lucy's only a mediocre cook, baaaaaw. come make fun of her.

You may want to try a flambé. Something that's supposed to be on fire when you cook it. It makes for an impressive tableshow.

Diva peers over her shoulder}

Ne, what are you making?

Got you on a wild goose chase too, has he?

[gives him a withering look]

If you're such an expert, why don't you cook for him?

Ah, well. I'm not sure yet. Harry's been wanting chocolate and things, so I was thinking maybe a cake, but I'm not sure. Perhaps an entree would be better?

Hardly. Can't I make him something because I want to?

{oh man I forgot about that icon!}

Cakes are a little bit easier to make, though, aren't they?

Ah, the wifely duties, of course.

[glances curiously at the other lady in the kitchen--and the very odd book she's carrying] Hey, whatcha making?

[Iiiiiii didn't]

Well yes, but that doesn't seem very proper for a wife, does it?

I'm not doing this out of obligation, Doctor.

Well...maybe not. I'd offer to help, but I'm not very good at cooking. I can give you moral support?

{She smiles warmly, and sits on the table}

It's been a long time since I've seen you, Lucy! Have you been well?

Oh, anything, really. Harry likes a good deal of things. He's been craving choclate lately, though, it seems.

[smiles back]

Mmm, it has been too long, hasn't it? I've missed you, running about as we have. It's just been very hectic lately. I feel as if I haven't had a moment to myself in months.

{She smiles a little}

I know how that is. I haven't either, but not mo--My, maybe it has been months. How odd.

I used to find the reprieve from here amazing, because time back home moved so slowly, but I feel as if I've been away for a lifetime. [frowns, tapping her cheek] It's disconcerting, isn't it?

Ne, I come here all the time, but it just makes the time at home go more slowly. I hate it at Arkham, after all.

Oh? There are lots of choices where chocolate's concerned!

Who's Harry, then? Someone else around here, or back at home for you?

[Mildly.]

Oh, I'm sure you'd rather do that.
