[...Did the temperature just drop a few degrees?

The answer to that is probably (unless you have about fifty coats on) something along the lines of: yes, yes it did. Why is that? Because a Cally just arrived on the Plane; except this Cally is not her usual bubbly self: instead she's sitting cross legged on the ground; with her eyes closed and her eyelashes wreathed in something that looks strangely like frost... In fact that strange frost thing appears to be spreading in a small circle shape around her.

She just remains in that oddly cold state for a moment- and then, suddenly, her eyes snap open- but her head doesn't turn. Instead she just keeps staring straight ahead with a oddly blank expression. Not really seeming to breath- in fact the only indication that she's actually alive are a few rather tiny twitches.

Yep, she'll just be sitting in her creepy corner of the Plane now; being creepy~]

[Satoshi looks at her for a moment, disappears, and returns with a jacket (it's one of the fun black ones with a cross on the back: so stylish!) that he drops over her shoulders, all without a change in expression]

[The narration just made far too many "aw" sounds; she feels that it should be said.

Cally just stares straight ahead for a few more long moments and then her head has suddenly snapped sideways and she shall be giving whatever bits of him she can see a rather intense (but still incredibly blank) stare]

[It's creepy, but Satoshi is used to creepy. He tries to take her pulse at her wrist.]

[Cally just keeps staring blankly and without blinking; her pulse is very, very slow.

After a few moments she takes a deep shuddering breath; but keeps staring]

[he draws his hand away] Can you hear me?

[Her only response is another deep breath; her eyes stll extremely blank and surrounded with ice]

[This time, Satoshi returns with one of those portable heaters you can put in your room. He sets it in front of her and turns it on]

[For a long moment there is no reaction at all; and then her entire body convulses- only her face staying calm as she gives one long shudder and lapses back into blankness]

[Clear and calm, he says her name]

[For a long moment it looks like her only response is going to be another shudder.

But then her mouth opens and one clear word comes out]

Cold.

[She still hasn't blinked]

[She doesn't twitch; her face still perfectly blank]

Cold.

[That's so unhelpful. Satoshi sits beside her and just waits]

[She does try]

[After about five minutes of just sitting there in a extremely creepy way she gives another huge shudder- and actually blinks this time]

...C-cold?

[Satoshi focuses on her] There's worse.

[Her shudders are pretty much constant now; the ice on her eyelashes beginning to melt] ...Wo-worse?

[noting this, Satoshi disappears and returns with a towel. He starts brushing ice away from her with it like he's restoring an art piece]

She barely seems to notice through most of it but after a while her hand comes up sluggishly to try and grab his wrist] ...Satoshi?

[pulling away from her] Rest.

[She blinks again; still ever so sluggish] ...Did it work?

[A short pause and then she gives a huge yawn]

I think I was- [Yawn] I think I was raising something? Many things [Another yawn] I don't know yet.

It was just... [Yet another yawn and then she pauses; swaying for a few seconds before her eyes close peacefully and she slumps over onto the floor- all asleep]

[Satoshi looks at her for a moment, and then, in a dutiful monotone of expression, he picks her up to carry her to the library (and a couch!) though he does not seem bothered by the cold]

[The Narration would like to express the emotion D'AWWWWWWWWW at this point.

Cally, however, barely twitches- she perhaps curls a little closer to the warmth but mainly just keeps breathing deeply and sleeping; she doesn't even appear to be dreaming]

[Satoshi sets Cally down on a couch in the library, then pulls away the jacket and sets a blanket on top of her, not to mention the heater he set beside her. He returns home with a pile of police paperwork and starts working on it beside her as he waits]
