[...Did the temperature just drop a few degrees?

The answer to that is probably (unless you have about fifty coats on) something along the lines of: yes, yes it did. Why is that? Because a Cally just arrived on the Plane; except this Cally is not her usual bubbly self: instead she's sitting cross legged on the ground; with her eyes closed and her eyelashes wreathed in something that looks strangely like frost... In fact that strange frost thing appears to be spreading in a small circle shape around her.

She just remains in that oddly cold state for a moment- and then, suddenly, her eyes snap open- but her head doesn't turn. Instead she just keeps staring straight ahead with a oddly blank expression. Not really seeming to breath- in fact the only indication that she's actually alive are a few rather tiny twitches.

Yep, she'll just be sitting in her creepy corner of the Plane now; being creepy~]

[Her shudders are pretty much constant now; the ice on her eyelashes beginning to melt] ...Wo-worse?

[noting this, Satoshi disappears and returns with a towel. He starts brushing ice away from her with it like he's restoring an art piece]

She barely seems to notice through most of it but after a while her hand comes up sluggishly to try and grab his wrist] ...Satoshi?

[pulling away from her] Rest.

[She blinks again; still ever so sluggish] ...Did it work?

[A short pause and then she gives a huge yawn]

I think I was- [Yawn] I think I was raising something? Many things [Another yawn] I don't know yet.

It was just... [Yet another yawn and then she pauses; swaying for a few seconds before her eyes close peacefully and she slumps over onto the floor- all asleep]

[Satoshi looks at her for a moment, and then, in a dutiful monotone of expression, he picks her up to carry her to the library (and a couch!) though he does not seem bothered by the cold]

Cally, however, barely twitches- she perhaps curls a little closer to the warmth but mainly just keeps breathing deeply and sleeping; she doesn't even appear to be dreaming]

[Satoshi sets Cally down on a couch in the library, then pulls away the jacket and sets a blanket on top of her, not to mention the heater he set beside her. He returns home with a pile of police paperwork and starts working on it beside her as he waits]

[About three or so hours later she stirs just slightly; her eyelids fluttering as she curls so that she's facing the heater- a few moments later her eyes flutter open for a moment and then shut again; the shutting accompanied by a small groan and a little shift back]

[finishes up his note and sets the papers aside, glancing over at her to see if she'll move further]

[After a few more moments of just lying there her hands come down and she starts slowly pushing herself up into a sitting position- her eyes still closed and her face still scowling]

[Satoshi sets a cup of tea, a bowl of sugar, and a bowl of spoon out beside her. He already has a water bottle there for her and a plate of biscuits. Then he sits back down by his papers.]

[Biscuits? Does she smell biscuits?

...Yeeeeeeep there are now faintly terrifying sounds of nomming coming from Cally's corner]

[A loooooooooooong pause as she realises that she slipped into formal speak for a few moments; then a FLAIIIIIL back to her usual speech]

I mean; ya didn't have to do that- 'S rather weird of ya to suddenly be all bouncy an' that [she's pretty sure that her slip up was noticed but she'll deny it until death]

...Ma an' Da were nobles when I last checked; an' I think I come from one of the oldest an' most inbred families around judging by what they were yellin' at me last time I heard them. It doesn't matter though- 'M gone now.
