[Shenzi's appearance on the astral plane is typical of her at ease; in her hyena form, and with a faintly smug but mostly confident expression, she appears suddenly and in mid-stride. It's almost comical how her unease grows visibly as she freezes, then inexplicably vanishes]

And isn't this a fun surprise? What, did someone get cocky enough to kidnap me or something?

This is the Astral Plane. It's run by a pair of crazy twins and a lady in a robe. Apparently we're all part of some big experiment.
