[Sitting on the plane is what appears to be a very large animal, something similar to a wolf, but not quite - after all, wolves don't have golden fur in the shape of an ankh (and on the chest, for those wondering), nor do they have large Anubis-like ears. That's just silly. Its fur, other than the gold, is mostly brown, black on the back, with white ears, and a grime-y sort of green belly. A single silver triangle is under each eye.

Spread out in front of it are 78 face down cards, and next to it is a sign that simply reads 'CHOOSE A CARD'.]

Somehow fitting.

It would depend on the deck for a more accurate description, but most often it is seen as a sign of success and fulfillment of ambitions. A man who has worked hard throughout his life, and now enjoys the fruits of his labour. Pragmatic and a realist. A seeker of opportunity, and successful in his endeavours. It is a good card to see in a reading.

Perhaps a bit more worldly than what would apply to me, but the wealth often associated with this card applies to more than material gains, I think.

Their origin, mostly. The thought that their creators put into them. They never vary significantly. Just in the details.

I don't think it works that way.
