[on the first floor, Remus has finally decided to avail himself of the outdoor baths; he's been experimenting with his ring quite a bit, so that may contribute to his current relaxation

he's wearing nothing but swim shorts, and his pale skin is strewn with scars, some fairly recent, some over a decade old; most appear to be claw and bite marks

his eyes are closed as he leans back, all but his head submerged in the water]

Magic seems to cost more in other worlds. For me, it would just be a simple little charm. [faint smile] But I understand. You probably won't catch cold here, anyway. [the lack of expression is perturbing, but it would be rude to let that show]
