Oh, but what is it? I knew that hotels were getting nicer and nicer, but really, this is just too much. Ah, actually it looks like something that might be on that moving pictures box. Pretty, pretty~

{She wanders around, looking at the sky above and below, having her hands out to the side like she was trying to balance.}

How strange! Ne, Amshel really outdid himself with this hotel, I think. This room is so pretty. ♥ ♥ ♥

...Something like that. ♥ Amshel has always been involved in politics, and I end up having to be. Ah, but I'm usually just something Amshel uses to bargain for what he wants usually. Those meetings are still awful though. Oh, except in the Russian court. Those were fun! Ah, I got to dance with all the dukes, barons, and the nobles~

Time traveling? Aha~ No, not really. I've been alive that long. I'm 173 this year.
{Still smiling brightly, or at least until he says 'Doctor'. It's barely noticeable, but now her sweet tone has a little wariness in it.}

Being a bargaining chip does sound boring. At least you make the best of it, then? And is that right? That's quite old for most species.

Ahhh [clears his throat] Not exactly. It's just what I go by. I do like fixing things but I'm not exactly a medical doctor. More like a...fights monsters doctor. I protect people, that sort of thing.

Oh, definitely. Ne, but my sister and I are the only ones left. Humans named us Chiropterans. But we could be immortal, maybe~ We're the only ones, so no one knows how long we live.

Oh, thank goodness! {laughs cheerfully} I don't really like doctors. But that sounds like a nice thing. A fighting monsters kind of doctor seems like a nice person, or at least as long as Doctor doesn't try and fight me~♥

[raises eyebrows] Is that right? I'm beginning to see I have a lot more in common with some of the people here than I would have thought. Well, if we're trading species, I'm a Time Lord. One of the last also.

[grins] Can't say I really fancy doctors myself. Or hospitals, actually. And I don't see a reason to fight you, so! I'm sure we'll be hunky dorky. ... [makes a face] I don't think I'll use that phrase again.

Oh, what a fancy name for a species! Ah, we just got a boring scientific name because Joel was trying to be precise. But if you're one of the last...Oh, do the other Time Lords like Doctor?

{Giggles} Ne, Doctor is a funny person...I like you! It's such a good thing to meet nice people! Ah, are there anymore people here? Are they nice too?

Oh yes. My species was always a bit pretentious. [then rubs his neck] Well...there's really just the Master left. I mean, here there's other versions of myself and him but it's basically just him and me left. He doesn't exactly... [rubs his nose] We don't exactly get along, no.

Well, I like you too, miss. And yep, there's loads more people. At least a dozen that I know. They're...nice enough, I think! A few humans but there's some other species around, too.

Then Doctor and I are the same in that way. Saya and I are the only ones in the world, but Saya hates me. She's been chasing me down since...Well, it's been 120 years now. Sister wants to kill me because she wants to prove her existence that way~

You can call me Diva, Doctor. And that's good! As long as they're nice, I think it'll be fine. But really, what is this place? It's so pretty, but I don't get it.

Is that right? I'm sorry it has to be that way. The Master and I have been fighting for, oooh, 700 years? Used to be friends but... [smiles a bit] Sounds like you can take care of yourself, though.

Lovely to meet you, Diva! I'm sure you'll do fine. [looks around] This is called the Astral Plane. It appears to be some sort of nexus point between dimensions. Most everyone seems to come from another world.

No, it's fine. I'm glad that Saya and I haven't been fighting for 700 years though! Ah, well, maybe one day you'll be friends again. I always hope it'll be that way with Saya someday, but there's a long story behind why she wants to kill me at all. And that's a se~cret~♥

Oh, is that what it is? But that sounds like something from a book! Amazing, amazing~! But you know, is it really...an experiment? That doesn't seem...{Just trails off, unsure how to finish}

Mm, I hope so, too. For both of us. And we all have our secrets. [understanding nod]

[frowns] I haven't been here long but it appears that way. Not sure what to think either. What sort of experiment is this? I hope not a social one. That tends to be an excuse to watch people drive each other mad.

...Hmph...Any experiment is not good at all. It doesn't matter what kind. But I refuse. Ne, I really don't want to be an experiment.

[nods] Can't say I really want to be an experiment. But I don't mind talking to the people here. And anyway I can't leave the planet I'm on right now so I may as well find out what's going on.

Well...I guess it could be alright...But...{She frowns slightly, glancing off to the side} As long as there aren't any actual physical experiments, I guess it's alright.

Ne, but planet? Do you not live on Earth?

I'm not fond of physical experiments myself...

[smiles!] Nope! I do frequent Earth, though, so I'm quite familiar with it. I'm on a tropical island sort of planet right now. I'm a traveler; don't really like staying in the same place for long.

Ah, a whole planet that's like that? Amazing! Ne, it must be really pretty! I've only seen pictures, and sometimes places like that are in that box, but I've never gotten to go to one...It's too bad! It seems like it would be really fun!

You haven't? Oh they're gorgeous. Hm, wonder if I could show you it somehow. [just sort of thinking to himself now]

Really, really? {Bright smiles for you!} Ah, I would really like that! Are they really as warm as they say? It's cold in New York this time of year, after all...

[aww now he's smiling all happily] Well, I'll have to figure something out but if I do, I'll tell you. And it's quite nice here, yeah. Warm, nice breeze, the water is clear and good for swimming.

That would be wonderful! I really hope that you do. Even with my performance in a few days, I could sneak out for a day. Ne, Amshel and Solomon wouldn't know that I left at all if I was careful. ♥

{Her fingers lace together and she even winks}

But that sounds so nice! Everywhere I seem to end up is cold, so a nice, warm, comfortable place would be such a nice change. I'd love to go swimming too! I don't really get to often, though. Too busy~

Performance? Do you act?

Well! It might not be the same but...the hotel might have a swimming pool?

Oh, no, I sing. I'm in New York to perform at the Metropolitan Opera House. I really love to sing, and this is the first time I've been awake that I've actually gotten to sing for other people. And this is the biggest one yet, so I'm really excited!

Oh, it does, and a really big one at that. But my Chevalier wouldn't let me go swimming...They're too worried I might drown or hurt myself. Ah~ But it's really not that bad. I learned to swim when I fell in the ocean once, so it's not like I can't.

A singer! Always did love a good concert. I'm sure it'll be brilliant.

[rubs his neck] Well, yeah but...I'm sure it'd be fine if you swam with someone. They could swim with you.

I'm sure it will be...There's so much going on with it that it'll be a really exciting thing.

Well...Maybe...I don't know who I could convince, though. Amshel and Solomon would be too busy, but Karl might be able to. If I ask nicely anyways. ♥

[laughs] Sounds like you'll be busy. But I do wish you the best of luck. In swimming and singing!
