Puzzle 02
[After forever and a half, guess who's shown up again? This time Eddie is down to just a wife beater and his underwear (just stripes this time, sadly no question marks), and is sitting on what seems to be a hospital cot. He's sporting a single black eye, which he is dabbing at with an ice pack, along with a handful of bruises which seem to be spread surprisingly evenly throughout his body. There's probably a broken rib, too, but he doesn't want to move enough to find out. For now he simply sits, taking care of his black eye with his legs swinging over the cot, looking grumpy.
And why is he here, you ask? Because he got caught attempting to murder Gordon. It's not like he just pointed a gun at him! He gave him a proper death trap, with a proper way out. Of course, Batman had to go and cheat and save him, ruining a perfectly good plan. And then he had the gall to be angry at him! It's quite clear how that particular fight turned out.
The only reason he's on the Plane while bruised is that the doctor's are trying to drug him up again. Clearly, Bats is the one that should be drugged]

Broken rib bone?
no subject
[No he's not sulking. Really]
no subject
[he's not going to offer. Ask or you get nothing]
no subject
I could do a bit better than that, with your help.
no subject
[more than that, Eddie!]
no subject
What does Jerry? He's barely a doctor himself. That PHD makes you Dr. Jonathan Crane.

Are you sure you trust me?

[he tilts his head]
An analgesic for the pain and a special creation of mine to repair the bone in record time. There might be side-effects, but you'll get to keep the part of your mind you love so much. Adhesive tape for the injured rib first, though.
[without hesitation, Dr Crane presses his hand to the mentioned limb, feeling along for the point of injury]
[he's not being the most gentle about it either. Scream when he finds the right spot, Eddie!]

Except there's the spot where the rib broke, and there's bone fragments and flesh and possibly delicate tissue that, while not cut, still feels all too sensitive to the edge of the broken bone pressing against it.
So Eddie screams, a loud and sudden shout, his whole body going rigid]
no subject
Ahh, there we are. It's not as severe an injury as it could be. You were dealt a lucky hand, Eddie.

Analgesic and my chemical after I secure the injury.

[smiling pleasantly, more Dr Crane than Scarecrow, but there's far too much maliciousness in his words]
I do have a formula that doesn't have those side-effects. I'm afraid you haven't proven worthy of it. Perhaps you'll remember that next time you want to talk about me, hm, Riddler?
[And without waiting for Eddie, Crane starts taping from the Riddler's sternum right to the spine so Eddie doesn't hurt himself badly with his carelessness]

Sad that you prefer this to our real psychiatrists, isn't it?

[he takes the Riddler's arm and pushes in the needle; a smile, and the injection is done]
In the veins. You're welcome, Eddie.
