[When he does, he starts walking to the ballroom, naturally attracted to the closest thing to art on the Plane]

[nods, setting her watering can down] The soul trees of humans need help to grow, desu. Otherwise they might wilt or be overrun with weeds, and then the human won't be able to mature. They'll wither and die, just like their soul tree, until all that's left is an empty husk.
