Tales of the Floating World

[A fifteen-year-old boy appears on the Plane, adjusts his glasses, and utters the eloquent and verbose:]

Hm.

[He is clearly not too disturbed]

[Then, he goes completely still, as if suddenly noticing something. It's a long moment before he regains his composure]

[When he does, he starts walking to the ballroom, naturally attracted to the closest thing to art on the Plane]

[and here is another piece of art, watching you curiously]

[Guess who is examining the ballroom? Ooh shiny] Hallo there! Nice place isn't it? Pretty, not that I like dancing or anything but still, pretty buildings deserve to be called pretty, it's only nice after all.

It does! And it should be admired, especially if it's good since it takes so much effort... Though I don't really know what is good, apart from possums that is, I suppose buildings are pretty, especially castles! Paintings too, sculptures? Everything is pretty in its own way, usually, as long as it isn't sport.

[She shall live up to expectations!] Sports are horrible after all, all sweaty, and tiring, and they don't look good either... I mean, horses are nice, I'd like them more if they weren't terrified of me, but other stuff? It's awful, very ugly and that isn't good.

[She'll be drifting after him, and blinking] ...Wha? I suppose it's nice enough, for keeping cows in I mean, kinda pretty really, especially the white ones although not many are white since cows are all messy, they'd jsut ruin them, teh fences [She might've missed the point of that]

[Cally's observance is somewhere around the level of a rock, so, no] I mean, I like cows though, they just don't like me, which is kinda mean but you can't blame them really, everything hates the possibility of being a zombie which is rather logical when you think of it, but everything seems to hate me... Except possums, do you like possums? I like possums.

[identity profile] lovethepossum.livejournal.com 2009-08-10 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[This is Cally's horrified face] Never? How? Possums are everywhere, you're deprived, I can go get one if you like? I think I can bring 'em here, I wonder if they'd like it...

{Yay someone noticed her ballroom! So Diva is inside, cleaning, and singing a French aria (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwo4-RaIk3o) as she works}

[watches him warily because what kind of look is that, really?]

W-well I don't recognise you either, desu!

[translation: That was quite rude]

{She is sweeping, which is like the only chore she is actually good at, since it doesn't involve technology or buttons or new-fangled inventions. Pretty much. But she comes to the instrumental part and hums it, turning with the broom to see Satoshi.

So she smiles!}

Oh, I didn't hear you come in. Ne, I haven't seen you here before, though.

I do? [unruffles a little, coming closer] Do you know other Rozen Maidens, desu?

[identity profile] madamemoiselle.livejournal.com 2009-08-11 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, really? Usually people don't come to my ballroom at all, much less right after they've arrived! They're usually too worried about falling or the stars, something like that.
