[Peri Brown appears on the Plane, stumbling like she just stopped running. she looks much like any of the Doctors who knew her might remember, with one exception. her brown hair is cut in the same short bob and she is wearing impractical wedge shoes as always, but there is a glaring lack of spandex leotards. instead she's wearing khaki shorts and white-and-blue-striped boatnecked tank top. well-endowed chest is still there, however.]

Woah ... what happened here? Where am I? D-Doctor? ... A-Anyone?

[she turns in a few circles, looking around her with increasing concern]

Can anyone hear me?

[to herself] I thought that store was weird ... the Doctor said I could go shopping and that place just seemed to pull me in--and I didn't even recognize the name of the store. And those twins. Creepy ...

[louder] Doctor?! This isn't funny!

[slumps down miserably on the nearest rock] ... I have a headache.

[can't help a brief look of annoyance: he sounds a lot like her Doctor, making her think too hard and stammer and setting her up to maybe look stupid. nevertheless, she gives it some thought]

Well, if I'm here and you're here .... [finally shrugs] I don't know, Doctor. Is someone collecting us?

[grins] Well done. They're not just collecting, though. [bluntly] They run experiments, like we're lab rats.

[grins--she wasn't expecting to be RIGHT--and then her face falls flat]

What?! Then why don't you leave? You said we could leave just by thinking, right?

[dubious look at you, like she's waiting for the other boot to fall] Is there some sort of trick to this? Or a trap? I won't blow up or anything?

No trick, I'll show you myself. [and with the snap of his fingers (which is more for dramatic effect than anything else), he disappears off the Plane, and reappears a few moments later] See? Easy.

[she'd spent the few minute he was gone minorly freaking out before retreating back to the rock she'd first been sitting on; now, she jumps back to her feet and runs over]

You--! [snaps her mouth shut; she's not going to admit she was worried sick. instead, she puts her hands on her hips] Why would you come back, if they--they experiment on us? Why not just go back home and stay?

... Unless. [makes a face] Do you ever get brought here against your will?

[shrugs, totally oblivious to any worrying] I don't know. Only arrived recently myself. But one of the blokes I met said you'll be dragged back sooner or later, so maybe.

Some people want to stay, though, to see people they couldn't see otherwise. And some of us just enjoy a bit of trouble. [winks]

Someone told me there were around a hundred or so. Not sure there's anyone you know, but I've met a few of my selves here, so maybe your Doctor's around somewhere. Oh, and the Master's here, too. [he's smiling about that, just a bit]

[another shrug] I doubt you'd recognise him if you did. Just remember, home's only a thought away, if you're not feeling safe.

'Course you would. I remembered when I got back, didn't I? And you can return the same way you left, just by thinking. You're gone however long you want to be gone.

[wrinkles her nose] If this is some bad science lab sort of place like you mentioned, it sure is a crummy one. What good's a prison that lets you come and go?
