[Peri Brown appears on the Plane, stumbling like she just stopped running. she looks much like any of the Doctors who knew her might remember, with one exception. her brown hair is cut in the same short bob and she is wearing impractical wedge shoes as always, but there is a glaring lack of spandex leotards. instead she's wearing khaki shorts and white-and-blue-striped boatnecked tank top. well-endowed chest is still there, however.]

Woah ... what happened here? Where am I? D-Doctor? ... A-Anyone?

[she turns in a few circles, looking around her with increasing concern]

Can anyone hear me?

[to herself] I thought that store was weird ... the Doctor said I could go shopping and that place just seemed to pull me in--and I didn't even recognize the name of the store. And those twins. Creepy ...

[louder] Doctor?! This isn't funny!

[slumps down miserably on the nearest rock] ... I have a headache.

[stamps her foot; she's so mad she can barely speak]

[ignores the insinuations at her behavior for the part that confuses her the most] But ... but no one was there when he regenerated! No one at all, except me. We were alone in the ... in the ...

... the TARDIS.

[trails off as this highly unlikely possibility hits her. she'd often heard the Doctor refer to his ship as a sentient being but she'd always blown it off as a load of crap. even know she's frowning as she rejects the idea. there's NO WAY ...]

[narrows her eyes, glaring] You couldn't possibly be the TARDIS--the Doctor never said you could take a human form! And besides--even if you are the TARDIS, and can think ... I don't think you would h-hate me.

[yeah she lost a lot of her venom at that last bit. for all she said she didn't think the TARDIS was sentient, she still got the feeling sometimes that the TARDIS was in on some of her jokes on the Doctor]

Hey--I didn't set the TARDIS controls. [and now we're back to indignance] He picked the time and place--if you're so omnipotent or whatever, you could have stopped us and taken us somewhere else.

You stupid girl. I can affect only so much of my own piloting. He is still my pilot and, whether I want to or not, I ultimately have to do as he desires. I cannot always influence the outcome of our landing.

It does not change the fact he chose that place because of you. Therefore, you are responsible for his death.

[pause, wary narrowing of eyes]

[oh, the list of reasons. but mainly she's pissy because Eight likes Charley and she now has a chance to take out her frustrations on a previous companion the Doctor liked]
