Hm. Well, Yuyuko's been attacked by the other Saints, Milo's got buildings falling on him, and someone did something...terrible to a woman named Diva, but it seems that people are generally alright. No fatalities as yet.

I would but I need to bust these smugglers or else- [and cuts herself off because that bet is a secret] B-Because! Because it's a challenge.

[frowns but nods] At least everyone is alive. People shouldn't die anymore.

[Looks at her, visibly worried.] But Ms. Hashimoto, is it really worth getting hurt again? A challenge can be good and fun, but one has to know when to back off.

[Raises his eyebrows, but he nods.] I promise.

Well, Gene and I made a bet. If I can bust the smuggling ring, then he can't call me a bird anymore. But if he wins, I have to stay away from sam.

[Facepalm.] Gene, that...

Alright. Tell me this--is Mu alright? Conscious at least?

[nods] Mu is all right. He's still in the reality I guess.

Alright. Well, I don't want him to do something he wouldn't do, but...I'm pretty sure he has certain abilities. Find out if he's willing to use them. Don't worry about what the smugglers will think, because no one believes criminals when strange things happen.

[nods] We're trying our best to seem normal, like Sam and Gene. But if worse comes to worse, you're right, no one would believe them.

Exactly. Find out first if you can get away in a more, well, normal sense. Try to judge the situation rationally--which also means knowing when to escape to the Plane, and when to stop acting like Sam and Gene.

I just don't want either of you getting hurt. [Hei is feeling torn, since he can't exactly just hand Fumie a weapon, and the best he can do is give advice. And he hates feeling helpless.]

[nods] We can do that! And I'll be okay. They're still debating what to do with us, so that gives us some time.
