Alright. Well, I don't want him to do something he wouldn't do, but...I'm pretty sure he has certain abilities. Find out if he's willing to use them. Don't worry about what the smugglers will think, because no one believes criminals when strange things happen.

[nods] We're trying our best to seem normal, like Sam and Gene. But if worse comes to worse, you're right, no one would believe them.

Exactly. Find out first if you can get away in a more, well, normal sense. Try to judge the situation rationally--which also means knowing when to escape to the Plane, and when to stop acting like Sam and Gene.

I just don't want either of you getting hurt. [Hei is feeling torn, since he can't exactly just hand Fumie a weapon, and the best he can do is give advice. And he hates feeling helpless.]
